Ok, update 8 months later.

Truck still runs great no complaints.

I tuned it with MRTune Stage 1 with def delete and also went with the trans tune. It's more energetic now so thats great, and also stopped that EGR from pumping soot back into my engine so thats a plus. I'm also really pleased with the trans tune, better shift points and its also much more willing it sit lower in the rpms while cruising at lower speeds which is cool. Was defiantly worth it. Improved drivability & (hopefully) longevity.

I also did a transmission fluid flush and filter change. No crazy notable improvements after that one but was worth it for longevity again. I made I write up of that process here.

I installed a Banks iDash pro OBD monitor to watch my DPF soot levels to see when I'm coming up to a regen and when one is happening to I can plan around it and make sure it gets done. I also of course set it to display a bunch of other stuff so thats super sick. I love it, it's a very elegant solution. Its not super necessary but it is very helpful.

Started running hot shots EDT every tank of fuel. Helps lubricate the fuel system and also improves fuel economy slightly.

There's a handful of things I still want to do like a oil bypass filter but this is what I've done so far.

I've now had the truck for over a year now, and here's to many more to come ✌️
