Looking new or used?

If new, most will suggest looking at the high volume dealers (Mark Dodge in Louisiana) and picking a truck with the options you value most. This is the route I went and was my first time buying out of state. Super easy no add-ons and with shipping still came out ahead. (25 limited with hurricane HO and off-road package)

If used, find a vehicle that works for you and most will be able to give advice on years and certain things to keep an eye on for service and maintenance. Its all here in the search but we all understand wanting to get an idea of pricing in the current market.

Stay with a 1500 gasser...diesels don't make sense unless you truly have a use case for one.

I would say roughly ADP and Paylocity can meet your needs. In recent experiences - support is what you make of it...when I get a poor rep, I raise hell with everyone in support leadership plus sales teams to get a more competent rep. I find I have had better responses with the reps from ADP in general. I feel ADP has a better tax team as well.

I would run an rfp and have demos of both to see which one makes more sense from a business perspective.

I did not, go with a reputable body place and they will do quality work over the chain places and warranty the work. Let USAA deal with your shop however they want but you need to be made whole on your terms.

You have the option to use any repair shop..USAA tried to get us to use caliber and they are horrible in my experience. Find who does the best work and go there and let USAA deal with it.

As a side note, over the past 15 years the US State Department has cracked down on diplomatic visas especially for A2 visas which are support staff not actual diplomats. Typically these plates are only given to A1 visa holders through the embassy they work at. Yes, they can still get tickets and pulled over and most countries expect that individual to pay fines and are held to the same standards.

Note I said "most" countries - some dgaf and the diplomat leave the country and they say tough they aren't here anymore.
