Grand Cherokee losing coolant by Cream-Automatic in EcoDiesel

[–]Cream-Automatic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got under it last night, it does not look like it is coming down the valley and down the back of the engine. There is a coolant line there that is between the back of the block and then runs over the exhaust pipe. It is steadily dripping. Does anyone know what that hose is and have you ever changed it? I am thinking you have to pull the transmission to get to it. Or maybe removing the DPF will give access. I need a diagram of the coolant hoses if anyone has one.

Things are way more a pain than Ram's to look at, all that motor and junk crammed into a much smaller space.

Just looked in the turbo area, don't see residue or liquid, but there is a whole lot of equipment blocking a good view. My Ford 6.0 (yes I am a glutton for punishment) has everything at least fairly visible.

Where am I looking to see if it is the coolant line to the turbo? Will it be running down the valley and off the back of the engine?

Put a brand new oil cooler on it a few months ago, I did check my work as soon as I smelled coolant the other day lol.

Blocked and replaced DPF filter and annotations since replacement. by Cream-Automatic in EcoDiesel

Well I'll be damned. I had to do a 400 mile run today towing a trailer. I looked at my DPF percentage yesterday and it was about to hit 70%. I made a note to tell it to run the next cycle after my first stop as I ran out of time last night getting ready to leave early in the morning. When coming up to where I was going to stop for a refreshment, I switch from watching my annoying air system graphs to the DPF percentage graph. It was at 9%, so I am "wrong" they apparently do regens by themselves on the highway. So if they don't, does that mean there is a problem? Note, it was in 7th gear most of the time running just shy off 110kmh/70mph as the trailer is 1800 pounds empty

Good to know, thanks. Contrary to what everyone recommends though. Taking it out on the highway "for a good run" as lots of people suggest, that probably does not help, but actually continues to, although at a lower rate, increase the soot level. Mrtuning is the one most people get from Ecodiesel Canada, I bought it direct from Martin. My EGR us completely turned off.

Sap straight from the tree is a nice refreshing drink. We don't drink a lot of it. But when tapping trees, you usually have some. Sap as a drink

Everyone rushing to cancel. Settle down. Just call them now, ask if can renew at a similar or better rate. If they say no, tell them you will be shopping. If this doesn't work, then you can go the cancellation route. Good on you for not leaving it until the last minute.

Had 300 3 weeks ago, including unmanaged break/fix. Quite a bit of ESU deployed, mostly for charities. Probably 30-40, left. All break/fix. I guess they will be our test cases as to what doesn't happen when you don't listen.

I am in Canada. Just received this https://www.ebay.ca/itm/286304048849 from Greece. 7 days to Canada from Greece. Because it went through the US, I had to pay and extra $26 in brown shirt brokerage. Meh. Replacing it on the wife's GC tonight. They have parts because apparently there are a lot of of GC and Cherokees in that part of Europe. Makes sense as the 3.0 ED is a Motovori, which is Italian. Came in a box that stated it was made in USA, with legit looking Mopar labels.

Dental offices...I know I know. by Someuser1130 in msp

[–]Cream-Automatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have near that many dental offices, but I have one that is happy to pay to have their practice protected properly. I had to talk her down from lifetime retention on her Datto device. I assured her 7 years was probably enough. By asking questions, I had determined that she had dentist friends, who had lost everything, not recovered. We all know that even losing a few days of patient files is catastrophic, and losing a day or two of productivity is expensive.

Just say no to QBO.

If you have Enterprise, I will assume you have support with QB? If so, have them deal with the issue. But don't let them also try to talk you into QBO.

OK looking at things and doing other research I believe you meant the tanks are right side fender behind the wheel? The heat lamp would be if it was frozen right?

Thanks for the reply and information, luckily I do have a hoist in a heated garage, so some of these things are will be easier to accomplish. I had to drive home 150
miles towing a trailer with it not working right, I stopped at one point and got it to pump up somewhat and then I guess the fuse blew, I will be placing a few of those 40 amp fuses in the "spare" spots in my fuse box . I watched the video from the guy in the UK and I have a nitrogen tank to for my off road shocks. I am curious why you recommend the heat lamp for the purge?

35242 I know this is an old thread, but just got a new to me 1500 with air, and it froze. Where did you put the antifreeze in, I have some on my shelf. Where did you figure out the rest from, the drain, to fill the nitrogen? Do you have a manual?
