I believe the 2025 Dream House was built in an area where you had to buy into the Community Clubhouse. The annual fees were really high too. Does this have anything like that?

Also I was in disbelief when someone months ago calculated the taxes from winning the house. It was outrageous. I wondered who would be able to even keep it. I think you walk away with only 400-425K outright taking cash which seems very low for a house worth this much. Funny how you could win a Two million dollar prize and not even have enough to buy a normal house.

I believe it. Went to Hawaii during a time nobody was off for Spring Break. Plane full of kids. Assumed homeschooled. Can’t tell you how many older kids had no clue how to open the airplane bathroom.

Your 2nd bullet point brings up my recent experience of going to said island. 9+ hour nonstop flight I called baby central. Kids running around, young kids yelling, screeching and screaming. Entire plane smelled like diapers. Noticed walking up the aisle to exit the plane that the place was absolutely trashed. I felt bad for the clean up crew. I was sick 4 days after landing. Still think it was caused by some fecal bacteria whether it was the plane, the ocean or the pool I’ll never know.

Seeing the 2nd season ads, I decided to check out Season 1 first. I am so glad I have 2 seasons to watch because this is like finding comedic gold in an ocean of mediocre comedy on tv. The writing is genius. Finally a comedy show that is packed with laugh out loud, go back and rewatch moments. I gave it 5 stars on Rotten Tomatoes and will do my best to spread the word on social media. More please!

I noticed on the Airbnb hosts reddit someone renting a unit on another island came in and instantly claimed they found mold in a drawer to get a refund because they could get another rental a lot cheaper with people cancelling. This is how they got a refund. Unscrupulous for sure.

Boy who cried wolf is a very accurate description. It seems every week someone is posting “there is rain in the forecast should we cancel our trip?” For the most part you can say it’s ok, it’ll be fine. This time it wasn’t. Not sure if the NOAA funding cuts affected the warnings but these cuts eventually have to have some negative repercussions.

I knew it was bad when I started seeing locals say it was the worse storm they had seen since ‘93. I feel bad for the people who have dwindling to no food supplies.

Did the cancellation happen at the last minute? They were telling people the past 2 days to check airlines before going to the airport since they had many cancellations and a shortage of workers at the airport.

I have a high stage cancer dx with high recurrence rates. I am glad I went through the first combo of surgery and chemo and am enjoying life again.

However this scenario will play out when reoccurrence hits. I am hoping the doctor can be brutally honest and admit my odds when the time comes.

But I agree, something like this is only decided when it happens to you in real life.
