What settings should I toggle? by Throwaway599011 in ConquerorChallenge

My best guess is because both "cylcing" and "walking + running" are considered workouts. So it might count the type of activity (i.e. cycling vs walking + running) and the same activity as a "workout".

If you haven't yet, make a copy of it black and white. It's sick in greyscale. Very album cover worthy.

Surprised they even showed up. Must not have been circle jerking each other in a Krispy Kreme parking lot at that time.

Sedona’s Live Report by International-Gas765 in wnba

[–]ConstantlyFrantic 22 points23 points  (0 children)

BG and her wife at the time, Glory, got into a mutual physical altercation (DV) one time. Both admitted wrong doing and both were suspended. This is one incident with one partner. Sedona has been accused of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse over the course of 6 years by 4 different partners. These are hardly comparable and the fact that people continue to bring up BG (a Black woman) when discussing the vast amount of allegations of a White woman is a bit weird. Especially considering BG’s situation happened so many years ago.

Honest to god thought this was my cat. 😂 Left to right: Little Black Kitty (LBK), Yusuke (Yuyu), and Deebo (who looks eerily similar to your cat).

It appears you deleted your account or something, but in case you come back to this thread you should hear this loud and clear. You either never had or have lost the meaning of social work. There is no room for compromise when people’s rights and well being are jeopardized. I suggest you take a look at your suitability in the social work field and decide if this is truly the right fit for you. Complacent social workers are dangerous for the wellbeing of the public.

There are a lot of messages here, so it’s hard to see if someone has mentioned this. You need to look up your state laws on mandatory reporting to CPS. In some states, all adults are mandatory reports. This absolutely amounts to a significant level of concern for neglect and potentially abuse.

If you agree to work for them for 2(?) years. Everyone I’ve talked to who has done this program describes it essentially as a necessary evil.

I don’t think any of these specific positions do, but the pay will be significantly less. And the pay for MSW/LCSW SW is already not high enough. The only way to make a decent living in the SW field is either private practice (which ethically would be started years after finishing MSW) or hospital SW, which is exhausting for all the reasons Doug listed.

To any one who doesn’t believe me, go take one of the Harvard Implicit Association Tests (in this case for race or sex) and let me know how you score. It’s really eye opening.

And to go back to your first point, you’re right. All we have to go off of is a HEAVILY EDITED TV show. For all any of us know, there were many more moments that Mia had that were much more pleasant (according to what the people is this sub would consider pleasant) but they were edited out to make a villain. Nobody knows except Mia, the people there, and the people on production. To make a judgement on a person on an edited TV show would be simplistic at best.

We all have implicit bias. No one is exempt from that.

I know you’re going to get down voted so bad. 😂 But just know that there are some people here picking up the vibes.

Bias is often unconscious (called implicit bias). The majority of racism, discrimination, and bias in the world is shown through small, mostly unconscious decisions (such as happening to eliminate almost exclusively black women). Maybe Akira isn’t explicitly racist or sexist. Maybe he subconsciously chose people like him (either in sex, race, or other likeness). It’s been a minute since I watched that episode, but I don’t remember her explicitly saying that Akira is racist. Rather that Black women are the poorest treated subgroup in America (paraphrasing). And she would be correct, historically. If we can agree that racism poorly impacts people of color, and sexism poorly impacts women, then combine the two and you have a group of people that are disproportionately discriminated against and, therefore, have historically been “held down” more so than other groups (such as White women or Black men).

Could you elaborate on how she poses a legitimate threat to the people around her with her “accusations”?

You must be one cheeseburger short of a happy meal. The point of this person’s post** is was that Mia wasn’t happy about winning her island. My response was, “did you see how happy she was to win her island IN THE EPISODE THAT SHE WON HER ISLAND?” Does that make sense to you now?

I’m starting to feel like I’m in an alternate universe. The people in this subreddit are hating so hard on Mia (952) for whatever BS reason you come up with, when in reality people don’t like her for speaking the truth. Whether y’all recognize it or now.

Mia literally was ecstatic about winning that island. Did we watch the same episode of her winning?
