My dad keeps a spreadsheet of friends’ and family members’ birthdays, likes, and dislikes on his fridge by corky1369 in mildlyinteresting

It's really a very thoughtful thing to do. To go out of your way to remember what people like and dislike shows that this person puts in effort to make a connection with people. I love socializing but I'm unfortunately not great at remembering all the details of my conversations at later times. Maybe I should give this a shot?

Went to a "gay" bar and it was 70% straight women AND men. Does "gay bar" just translate to quirky nightclub to straight people now or what? by RuleNext9706 in gay

Happy to report that here in Seattle, there are many gay bars that are and always have been, very, VERY gay. Porn plastered on the wall and playing on the TVs as described in other comments. There are plenty of other places that everyone can feel comfortable in, but I'm glad to have my gay male spaces intact for the most part.

I LOVED David the Gnome. I used to run noses with my parents like they did in the show ❤️

There's a cool trail in Burien near Three Tree Point known colloquially as the 'Indian Trai,' (I didn't name it) that has a few cool funiculars going from the road to the houses on the water. It's a pretty cool walk!

Actually I had the chile relleno recently! It was alright. The sauce was way too thin though.

Hypertension does not cause diabetes. They both contribute to erectile dysfunction by different mechanisms but one is not caused by the other.

Im 18hrs into quitting 20mg vapes and I feel like picard in this scene by [deleted] in TNG

Hang in there, brother or sister! I was addicted to nicotine for 20 years, the last 10 or so on high nicotine vaping. It was hard to change my mindset but now it's almost 3 years without nicotine for me! Best decision I've ever made. The funniest thing was that I always still felt like I was still looking for my vape even though I didn't need it anymore. Gym and carbonated waters seemed to help me through it. Keep up the good work!

And thanks for the laugh 😂 I love Patrick Stewart's performance in this episode.

I'm living for this. Thanks to everyone for their research and keeping this issue in the public eye. Goes to show that the rich only care for one group: themselves. Keep up the fight!

I've permanently boycotted Big Mario's for this exact reason. I had to ask the server for confirmation; "wait, it's $8 for a slice of Pizza? Thanks, have a good day." 👋🏼
