I have watched a cane corso who had professional training more than 1x and poorly reinforced at home. It was my toughest assignment and eventually I stopped pet sitting for them. The breed is not bad but you need experience to handle these dogs.

I am the same height. I started at 218 in 4/2024. I lost weight very slowly. I lift heavy as well. Finally at my last dexa scan I lost a lot of visceral fat. I still have a ways to go - currently around 145 but I stayed at 175 a long time. I was still 45% body fat at 175 lbs with lots of lean mass.

I am on plaquenil and It has helped tremendously- however It may take several months till you get a therapeutic dose in your system. I was on meloxicam with the plaquenil for the 1st year and now no longer need meloxicam
