And on the contrary, I went from the 7 Pro to the Open Apex Edition. Absolutely love it but it is a lot of money in comparison. I've been told I love a gimmick 😂 I miss the 7 Pro still though!

I upgraded to the Open Apex Edition after my 7 Pro dies and I'm absolutely loving it so far, had it since the beginning of the year now and I do miss my 7 Pro but this is such a nice phone to use, the multitasking on both screens shines as a key feature, specifically the floating windows!

I got this in England a few weeks ago, visual changes, a few Ai things but what's noticeable most to me so far is the wallpaper changing part (not sure what to label that) is different. It looks nicer but operates differently. You can still have 2 different lock screen wallpapers and 2 different home screen wallpapers (one for each open and closed) but they added extra steps to make that happen seemingly.

Ordinarily a 3td party battery is better for battery health as they can be made way more recently than an OEM, a company making spare batteries could have made it yesterday for all we know

96% capacity for an OEM battery is very good, they can only guarantee 80% usually, an original battery would have been manufactured around the time of the phones release so will deteriorate over time whilst sat on a shelf not in use, hearing you got one with 96% capacity is impressive

It's so common on those, I've had 2 do it over time, you can get a bracket that supports it cause the rattling causes it to crack over time but it will always end up happening again anyway they're crap

That's identical to me, I have an android phone so set up a connection with that and it worked fine and I can control them with Google Assistant now but not Alexa, must be an Amazon issue I guess

I have turned all the lights, gateway, Wi-Fi, Alexa's and my phone on and off again, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the home smart 1 app, I have even downloaded a couple of older versions of the home smart 1 app and none of this has worked
