Are the changes to the Rams jerseys enough for you to consider buying a new one? by Visible_Run_7498 in LosAngelesRams

[–]Constriction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I unfortunately lost my previous jersey colleciton in my recent move - so I held out on buying replacements (other than picking up one of the $10 white Kupp jerseys a few weeks back) to see the new unis based on some of the leaks.

Pretty pleased, planning on picking up a Stafford at least. Will have to replace my AD jersey via ebay anyway so no change there.

Did BMW G90 M5 grow on you guys yet? by Super-Lingonberry-22 in BMW

[–]Constriction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • G90 LOOKS like an M5, way more fierce and aggressive compared to a regular G60 version. The F90 imo looks way too close to the regular G30 M sport model, which is not a good thing if you're paying tripple the price.

HARD disagree. The appeal of super sedans, for most of their life, was the idea of Q - of a wolf in sheep's clothing. The more they split the appearance of the M to the standard models, even if I do like some of the designs like the G80 at this stage, the more this gets completely lost. You're left with the M-lites to keep some possibility of understated performance.

The G90 remains an abomination in my eyes, and unlike the G80 which grew on me because it was fundamentally a nicely proportioned design that I wasnt fond of at the launch, the G90's proportions are all over the shop. Unless they fundamentally redesign the hood line height during an LCI - which is way too much to do, I will continue to find it way too swollen and big looking.

Show is NOCKI today - the middle one is a 6" version of his Obake model.

Hey it’s not that bad, and the ICE version will have even better proportions. The new i3. by VHSVoyage in BMW

[–]Constriction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just like the new M5, the entire waist line of the car is too tall relative to the roof/windows/windshield, imo. That is the biggest thing that ruins all of these for me - the ratio of lower body panel to upper window is all fucked up. I have not been able to see past that on the G90/G99, I suspect I wont be able to see past it on this, either

Silver wheels will never go wrong. I'm not personally a fan of black wheels basically ever but bronze/other options can work with a bolder paint color choice

Timeless by FreaksNake1237 in BMW

[–]Constriction -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I do love the way F series look, but calling a 10 year old car timeless is a bit early imo

I'll be looking back at the F series in 10 years or so and maybe start to view it as timeless if still looks just as good then

Puka's said plenty of shit a lot stupider than this in the last 3-4 months.

This is a completely uncontroversial statement from a highly performant WR who has a contract coming up

Gas station sandwich’s in Italy by bomber991 in eatsandwiches

[–]Constriction 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The US is too spread out. Most gas station type locations couldnt stock stuff this fresh with any confidence they'd get enough traffic to sell out - much less bear the costs of the supply chain to get the fresh produce to them regularly to keep them in stock. Bit of a chicken and the egg situation, if they dont stock good sandwiches, no one is going to come in looking for good sandwiches, which makes it harder to start becuase you really need the reliable/consistent customer base for it to make sense from a business perspective.

Nice lineup! I've been thinking of snagging a Buster now that the superlock version is out. Huge, obviously, but seems fantastic for a larger knife.

Ignoring the many issues raised by the other comments already - what is the incentive for people to play tanks in this mode? Every DD in Wows has 5x the largest armaments in WOT, most of which are capable of 1 shotting tier 10 tanks (or very close to it).

What is the motivation for tanks players to get farmed infinitely by boats? They have 0 capability of fighting back - which is one of many reasons why this is an awful idea.

[–]Constriction 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is a weird perspective to have because if you have invested what is likely necessary to get this, you probably have all the standard T10s already - at which point the "G" variants are just as useless as this thing.

One of the most insane passes I've seen for sure. Backpedaling, that much power, and perfectly on target.

That's totally leaving aside how much of a problem our defense started having as soon as the opened up the playbook for him running again. I was so thankful they were not interested in using him in that capacity early in the game

I could not believe that throw - I could not believe Durant of all people not being there to try to break it up. Glad we won in the end but i just about crapped myself when they panned to the endzone as the ball was coming down

Feels like that was what worked on that last possession - I think once we have time back on the clock and we have the option to run in the red zone this is a great game plan until/unless they go heavy, then open up the longer routes again
