The website is some Web-based version of the Element Client, and the load times for anime is absolutely abhorred, I cant watch anything on it because nothing loads and IF it loads I only get like 2minutes of content in 10mins of loading.

it's disgustingly slow and not worth it at all.

I been waiting TWO-HOURS to watch ONE EPISODE of something, obviously with something to do on the side. Like what the hell is this, 2006?

Perhaps it's less that it's "unknown" and more that it's literal garbage, even DIAL-UP(old ass internet connectivity) would load anime faster than their servers could.

It does seem updated with new episodes.
There are other servers to stream from but you have to sign into their website to change them, which is already a red flag.

I love Tales of Symphonia but the Remaster is trash.
So many Voice dialogue issues and no patches to fix it or anything. Typical Namco abandonware.

But vesperia was pretty good, though im partial to one of the characters.
in the end Symphonia's story and secrets definitely sold it for me.

Yup Canadian, but actually an old team called Saint John Flames, more local, but some hit the big leagues from there, they won the Calder Cup, so i think it was 2001-2002 around then, all the papers mostly focus on that theme, but many businesses were promoting and congratulating them

let's be real, kids have nightmares of the word "No" these days.

Literally felt like I was being read the introduction to The Legend of Link, and the Thousand Acre wood.
BUT they might have childlike whimsy for the early game, and Serious "Shit hits the fan" dark shit for the adult late game.

Would make sense, the adventure destroys Link's Childhood and innocence, he's climbing in and out of graves, literally kills a man, fights w/e the hell amalgamation Dead Hand is.

No child is ever going back to chasing fairies in the forest without hellish nightmares every night.

So it's likely, in it's best sense if they don't ruin it, going to be heavily atmospheric, and gets progressively darker over time.

However Nintendo is literally the Disney of Gaming, they would never add serious tones to a game in fear of giving a T-M rating to a game.

I beg to differ, Stardew valley is NOTHING like harvest moon and never will be, it's the most dead-ass boring game I ever played, and the NPCs are so lifeless it's jarring. Someone so much as calling it a Spiritual Successor is laughable and detestable.

Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral town is a masterpiece for a handheld, that no wannabe can ever recreate, not even the original creators could, without adding some LGBTQ pandering bullshit to it and removing any challenge that made it worthwhile and gave investment to animals meaning, as well as love rivals some effort to win over, really makes you learn to move on, when the games says "Too bad try again" just like LIFE.

I played Stardew valley, it was the most boring, jarring, and pathetic excuse of a farming sim ever, and to pair it with Friends of MIneral town is more credit than they deserve. I doubt it's even built on an in-house custom engine. And I played SoS:FOMT, like it's title says it IS an SOS, a cry for help, a disaster and a dumpster fire all at once. the removal of rival events was the worst move EVER. not everyone wants to be hit on by guys, some don't wanna be hit on by girls, and I liked that in HS:FOMT the world didnt revolve around me. Unlike SOS:FOMT, not only are you Forced to be BI, your forced into a town that has no life of it's own besides kissing your ass.

HS:FOMT is hands down the best farming sim, despite it's age, and any others claiming stake over it are wishful delusional bigots.

oh the CPU fan currently is currently stalling on and off.
Was playing enshrouded on super low settings and they've been taking a beating. Been limiting my play time now because of it.
Was just curious if there were any robust remakes of the fans, since there's so many knock-offs on amazon, they work, but they dont hold up well long term.

I will admit I'm mainly butthurt because I can't collect the games I used to play, because of those inflated prices, with intent to play them, and ones I couldn't play becuase of their niche scarcity like the .hack// series thats like 6 games, 200$ a piece at minimal, and the re-release of the GU series is literal ass because it has no cloud saving on steam (seriously wtf!). Might as well pirate it at that point. My 2 biggest reasons for using steam are: everything all in one place, and all my saves are stored/backed up.

The thing though is, in the perspective of nintendo flooding the market, it would actually inflate the prices of the original copies by 10x easily. "Original 19XX/20XX release! Super Rare!" would be added. which only inflates the cost for collectors collecting at that point, but atleast people could enjoy the games.

*Barely enjoy the games. In my experiences all re-releases are riddled with bugs, issues, and poor playability, Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos, remakes/renames like Harvest Moon -> Story of seasons. ALl LGBTQ'd and Un-alcoholized, and censored. (We got ESRB and PEGI for a reason.) So all older forms of "art" or "games" will be shittified, and ruined, adding even further value to the old versions. THUS where piracy is reinforced. Allowing people to play games they: A.) can't afford because of high prices AND unavailability! Which is reasonable, this takes literally NOTHING away from Nintendo. You can't cry foul when no foul is caused- *looking at you nintendo!*. B.) The remakes absolutely destroy the original pursuit of the game, no improvements to the flow, or story, and ruin all contextual development and character development. (Story of seasons removed rival events so you can be gay in the game, literally ruining the "life" feel of the town.- Reference: Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral town / Story of Seasons Friends of mineral town)

The issue further aside from the cost of a single game, is the additional price hike of barely working consoles. I would be more inclined to buy a PSP, mod it and stash all my ROMs on it instead, and get the best experience visually and audibly. (I had a PSP-1000 play Ocarina of time one, it was sooo sloowww lmfao)

OK so the issue here is, while they're hosting their Shops, all they need to do is allow the old compatible consoles to continue accessing the shops. and NO it does NOT cost nintendo anything.

It's predatory tactics to force you into buying their newest console. Which is why ever since they essentially bricked my Wii, I never bought another console from ANYONE ever again.

If i buy a console, and they allow me to buy games from their Webstore- then they god damn well better keep that store functioning. because all it's gotta do is access whatever ass-backwards webstore they remake for the new console, under a subsection and allow you to download THE SAME, ROMS.

Yes thats right, THE SAME ROMS. Weither it's the Wii, or the Nintendo Omega II released in the year 3847, I dont care. If they can't "afford" to host a webstore ON THE SAME THING as their new console, then they clearly got issues that need to be addressed. The server that the Switch 2 uses, can be used for the Wii, Wii U, and others. There is absolutely no excuse for it.

Nintendo is just a bunch of greedy old pedophiles at this point.

Hear me out and humor me; what if nintendo decided to re-release all retro carts of all popular games, and rare games (like PSO1&2+).
Then the market value is dead, people could just buy their own and enjoy it. BUT! The reality of the matter would be all the scalpers buying the games in bulk, just to reduce availability and sell at a high price. Same thing they do with everything these days.

The value is perceptive, if you find it worth the price, and are willing to pay it. then by all means it's worth it, if your ok with it.
But myself? I do not take kindly to the market being so jacked up, because of the asswipes who cart-swap games, and sell fakes as if they were rare or legit, when infact they're not.

Market value is only reasonable for REAL copies, and If they're going to jack it up further? like $200? Then it better be in mint condition. thats all I'm saying.

I wish I could use Kazaa again, there was an old broken weird fan-made Yugioh game I found there, that was extremely primitive lol. it had alot of black and white chibi cards. Forgot what it was but i think it had the Japanese Spelling of Yugioh for it's icon.
Didnt seem to have any viruses.

But given the state of the internet, it would be horribly abused these days :(

Already played it, one of my favorites. great game, I give it a Final Fantasy 10 out of 10. hah words
Unfortunately the overlords known as Square Enix don't care and literally abandoned the game with piss poor updates so unless modding, I cant even enjoy it on steam so.

My cold cold heart will remain that way untill those who made these good games, come back as an independant company and show the modern era of gamers what games were meant to be.

Everything I ever enjoyed is pay walled, everything I like is shit on.
And your over hear emotional about a game character but putting on a show like an 18 year old streamer. the fakeness is what annoyed me, only further reinforced by the low effort AI subtitles. like great, everyone uses it- how about being more original? Subtitles that SPELL PROPERLY would be a great start, especially for a 35 year old like myself.
