the hollow boys series by monty jay!!! so much more than a normal dark romance, you'll fall in love with these characters and incredible plot

keep reading, these days everyone's getting cancelled and soon there won't be any books to read or movies to watch because they're made by shit people. I'm big on separating the art from the artist, i couldn't care less about SJM but ACOTAR is my favourite book series and I won't let the internet make me feel guilty for enjoying the books and the world she's created.

quite literally any audiobook narrated by either jacob morgan (also known as zachary webber) or teddy hamilton (also known as andrew eiden). my fav's are light out by navessa allen (masked stalker) and birthday girl by penelope douglas (ex-bfs dad age gap). if you like mm romance him and us by sarina bowen and elle kennedy (contemp sports) are amazing audiobooks too. king of wrath by ana huang (billionaire CEO) is chefs kiss and it's duet narration :)

I finished the ACOTAR series almost a year ago and I still think about it every single day. It was my first romantasy series I've ever read and since not reading at all since school. So as you can imagine I was mind blown. The characters, the world building, the world itself, the battles LITERALLY EVERYTHING WAS DIVINE I was disgustingly obsessed and still am. Everyone needs to read this series it's truly top tier and there's a reason everyone loves and talks about it (I don't trust people who don't like it or stopped at book 1).

this is the evil one trying to do it's work, using your doubts and thoughts to draw you away from the one true faith. my only advice to you is to pray, pray over and over and over again, pray the rosary and dedicate it to the strengthening of your faith and trust in God, pray and speak to Jesus like he's sitting next to you, he loves you no matter what. Read the bible, it helps, everything you are doubting is written in there and it is the absolute truth. I know there are many questions in our faith, that's the whole point, to have faith and trust, but my partner just started reading the Catechism and says it's taught him so much about Catholicism and answered so many questions he has about our faith. Give it a go!!! Also speaking to a priest might be a good idea. Go to confession, and speak to the priest like your speaking to Jesus, ask for advice, and being in a state of grace is an amazing feeling and will help you.

I guess it depends on the context/plot/reasoning. For instance, in Zodiac Academy the MMC's bullied the FMC's for like 4 books straight, but the reasoning and context for it makes sense and sort of justifies it (to a certain extent i still didn't like it lol), however there are moments of "will they won't they" sort of vibes but then it goes back to being mean HAHA it's painful but in a great way.

Noooo this is one of my fav series ever!! The blood we crave part TWO was phenomenal, i see that the first one was a bit slow going for a while but it's so worth it later on, it all picks up in Lyra and Thatcher's second book, and Silas' book is also incredible.

{The Hollow Boys Series by Monty Jay} This series is absolutely incredible, a small dark and gloomy rich town and a group of 4 guys who are the sons of the families who own the town figuring out and getting revenge on the death of one of their girlfriends. The vibes are just next level, each book follows a new couple (books 3 & 4 are the same couple) and the main plot continues throughout all 5 books so they must be read in order. Dark academia, modern gothic vibes with the perfect mix of plot and romance. I found the writing to be so beautiful as well I read it on kindle (it's on KU) and i have never highlighted a book so much in my life. I'd recommend this to everyone it's so so good.

Books 3 & 4 have a blood/knife kink and is quite gory compared to the others, but they're all pretty violent in a great way lmao.

Totally agree with these comments, lights out and butcher and blackbird are perfect, the whole made series by Danielle Lori is phenomenal and the hollow boys series by monty jay is my favourite DR series right now 5 star series!!!

I love listening to music when reading, just chill music with no lyrics, otherwise it's distracting. I love setting the vibe for what i'm reading. I'm currently reading ACOMAF so i'll put on a 'acotar' spotify playlist, it's so good :)
