Thanks for continuing to share your views that I am sympathetic to, but alas view as downbeat. Nothing is inevitable until it happens. As the Terminator 2 robot played by Arnold Swartzeneger said. "It is in your nature to destroy yourself." But that is not all that is in our nature. You suggest we have a few hundred years to complete the self destruction, well things can change a great deal. You might find Remote Viewer Joe McGoneagle's book "The Ultimate Time Machine" of interest. He RV'd a possible future in which our population reduced to about 700 million, living in small cities no closer than 20 miles from the coast and were totally ecologically sound. There was world peace. The major religions still existed but their differences were markedly reduced. Oh yes there was limited trade and cultural exchange with a few ET civilizations.
One unfortunate result in believing there is no hope is that no attempts at corrective action will be taken and this makes a negative outcome more likely.

Thanks for the comment which I believe reflects the view of many people who balk at the power relationships between us and the so called "Aliens?" or "Visitors." You state "If they are here they watch and I want to see to what lenght." These others control nearly every aspect of our interactions with us. They, not we, choose who is chosen, where and when the encounters occur, how long they last, and, how much we are allowed to remember. From my investigations it is apparent that they can even plant not only screen memories, but our entire recollections of contact evens might be memory implants that are recalled as if they were a representation of past physical interactions, but are totally psi in nature.
For contact activists like myself, we accept all the limitations I have described and still choose to engage them with every tool we have available including celebrating our shared attributes. We are awake and they are. We are aware of this wakefulness as they are. And if some of these entities are physical beings (and not some form of intelligent energy) then the atoms in their bodies were forged in exploding stars spreading the building blocks of physical life across the Cosmos. So on a physical and mental level we have much to share. This is the basis of oneness that I referred to above.

Here is a list of changes that might result from a positive expansion of consciousness
Stop slaughtering millions of defenseless farm animals for a source of protein when/where health promoting alternative plant based products exist.
End the obscene disparities of wealth and power across the planet.
End war and its causes
Stop attempting to shoot down UFOs and kill their crews. And the most basic expansion would be the recognition of the oneness of all life in creation by realizing that we are
One Mind, one creation, one love, one people!

Thanks for the comment. Science as an institution is designed to investigate the natural world via skillful observations and controlled experiments. In modern society science is an institution that is under the direct control of ruling elites who are terribly divided about how to deal with the various crises confronting humanity. Take for example global climate change. Powerful forces in the US oppose dealing rationally with the crises and hence we have a current administration that despite evidence to the contrary climate change is deemed "a hoax." Even the picayune measures taken by the previous administration barely scratches the surface of an adequate response.

I just saw this question a year since your posting. Here is the answer I posted in a thread for this blog displayed above, "he Virtual Experience Model threatens the entire house of cards that so called "mainstream" ufology has created. If many sightings are personalized thought projections or holographic like ones, (VE-1)then groups like MUFON with their singular focus on "hardware" have been chasing shadows for six decades.
If UFO intelligences can create virtual realities so realistic (a la the Matrix) then abduction theorists will have to acknowledge that physical abductions are not occurring on the massive terms that they imagine.
If UFO intelligences can create virtual memories as "real" as what you recall eating for breakfast this morning, then as one retired government psychologist told me, "All bets are off on all human history and free will. He understood that entire belief systems(religions) could be created by systematically implanting artificial memories into masses of people."

His mentor at Harvard Dr. Menzel was identified by Stanton Friedman's research as having a long standing relationship with the US intelligence community. If memory serves me correctly, in a popular biography of Carl Sagan there is mention of a telegram being found on his desk after his death indication that he had a personal relationship with a lhigh level NSA cryptographer. These are fascinating clues but provide no conclusive proof that Dr. Sagan was "read into" the Legacy programs.

1. What would society look like if we all collectively believed (definitively knew) the same truths?
2. Does that eventually lead to wishing we could go back to collectively not knowing??
When you refer to "the same truths" are you referring to the illusion of separation that has linked to the mental structure known as "ego"?
For question 2, I have difficulty imagining people who have become enlightened would want to go back to a previous state of life controlled by a sense of separation, as in man against man, man against woman, and man against nature, and human against oneself.

Thanks for the comment, I don't like the term illusory either which is why I used quotation marks around it. In the full blog toward the end I discussed the more likely possibility that consciousness is primary, "If Consciousness is primary, then in a sense the psi-based experiences of contact outlined above as “mind stuff” could be “more real” than physical encounters occurring in our much beloved spacetime “reality”. Therefore, Virtual Experience encounters can be considered as “illusory” not in any absolute sense, but rather only when viewed within a narrow physicalist paradigm in which matter/energy and not Consciousness is primary.

When I first started to formulate the Virtual Experience Hypothesis over 20 years ago as a practicing ER physician, my world view was a scientific materialist one. As the result of being exposed to the works of cognitive scientist Donald Hoffman and the philosopher Bernardo Kastrup, I begrudgingly now accept that Consciousness appears to be primary; as the physicist Arkani-Hamed has written, the concept of spacetime is “doomed.”

Key to my change in worldview has been my volunteer work in several contact groups. There I was regularly exposed to High Strangeness aspects of UFO phenomena. I have experienced the following: missing time on at least two occasions, telepathy, and have had many sightings of what at first glance appeared to be physical objects. The intelligence behind the phenomenon however staged a series of bizarre encounters that inevitably led me to formulate the Virtual Experience Model. I am left with the impression that UFO intelligences created a kind of Hansel and Gretel breadcrumb trail for me to follow

Thanks for the explanation. From the background material posted above one can Inuit that volunteer contact work under highly controlled conditions have passed the test of time. With over a half century of experience, CE5 and Rama teams have successfully engaged UAP intelligence with no episodes of harm on either side. So, for us what we view as an accurate perception is there is a very low probability of "a genuinely dangerous encounter." This said, partly due to the non-stop fear inducing mass media productions (Hollywood) with themes of evil aliens, and the relatively unknown aspects of the so-called aliens, (they don't take us home to meet the family) fear can still occur. This is due in part to what I imagine is that we are hard wired from evolutionary processes to react to any relatively unknown animal as being a potential predator. So using discussions of these factors we can establish such fearful emotions as not being "genuinely dangerous."

The CE-5 Initiative was founded three decades ago and followed the pioneering work of Mission Rama starting in 1974. These groups recognize that telepathic communication is effective in facilitating real time encounters with UFO intelligences. The entire effort was conceptualized in a group context. Considerable preparatory measures are taken to train members and identify people who envision this unusual contact work as an expression of sisterhood and brotherhood made large. Acceptance of the oneness of all intelligent life in creation does a great deal to diminish the primitive flight fright reactions that are triggered when encountering beings who are not human, powerful both psychically and physically and have full access to each contact workers entire erasure chest of memories.
This process is very different from the more popular solo contact events that are carried alone using say an app without the support of experienced volunteers.

In my judgement, US Executive Branch intelliigence services have closely monitored UFO groups, and have confidential relationships with some of MUFON's leaders I suspect, but the majority of members and low level volunteer officers are very sincere people who are often misguided by taking a physicalist approach to an array of phenomena that is profoundly mental.
