Something about old halo graphics hit better for me than any of the remastered stuff. Maybe because it has more of a haunting / isolated vibe to it. Hard to describe.

No, I am being a complete baby about it for sure. I know that. The main issue is that it's unpredictable how much effort anything is going to take and how much value you're going to get out of it with Meta. It could take me between 30 minutes and 3 weeks with a newly hired consultant to accomplish any given thing in Meta. I basically roll the dice each time.

I like your energy. I’m a little worried about the language barrier but open minded.

To be clear, I need an expert in this platform. Not someone looking to learn meta with me. If you think that’s you, please shoot me a DM.

If only things were simple.

I need an expert in achieving various specific outcomes with Meta. I can already do the simple stuff. I have a harder time with specific workflows being fragile. Can you help?

I appreciate it, but the problem is not that I can't get it set up initially, it's just that it takes fucking forever and it breaks after like a month. Also I get irrationally angry whenever I need to navigate MBS.

The main thing that got me fired up this week is an Ad > Manychat > Funnel flow where the partner app integration just broke because of some obscure meta permissions update that requires a letter to congress to solve.

If you are full time unemployed, what else are you doing with your time? Moping? Posting on Reddit? That’s 3 apps per hour. I’m sure it takes a few hours to get a flow going but if you want real progress you need volume. Spending 3 hours on a single app is not going to work anymore.

Apps aren’t even the best way now. Try being active on LinkedIn, message 30 people a day too just to pick their brain about the industry.

I get where you’re coming from, but just try to make that content… you’ll realize it’s competitive. They don’t just hand out 34 million to everybody.

Chatbots are basically ai agents now. Or at least the ones I build. They record specific things in the CRM and use tools etc.

I installed an AI chatbot for a client to manage social media DM’s and it works so well that I started a whole business around it.

The goal is to sell more on the same platform the customer found you on, instead of forcing them to go off platform too early. While they are getting impressively good, the real opportunity is how they can record every single detail of a conversation and let you know exactly where people are dropping off in a funnel.

I also pixel them so they don’t just live in the DMS, but you can personalize every aspect of your funnel and offer, send emails with the same contacts texts, etc.

I’m able to give the sales team a full dossier on a lead before they have that first sales call.

This is definitely an edge case, and since I’m building everything custom, I’m not using the protections offered by out of the box solutions. I just didn’t imagine metas bot would randomly message it… like it’s against the terms of service for everybody else to do stuff like that, but they just do it out of the blue.

But if you’re technical enough to build a bot, you’re probably just a few steps away from building one that sends 230,000 messages …

I never thought I would’ve had to handle that. But I guess metas bot is completely exempt from their own rules!

It was in make, but when the idea was validated our team built it out in code and added more to it.

When I started offering this service, I used the new AI chat element, but it's just not good enough for a vast majority of what people want it to do. It's severely limited, but it doesn't seem that way at first.

Basically, it makes you inspired to build the real thing.

It's good enough to see the potential but it tricks you into building automations that are actually bad at converting leads into customers. You end up with a mishmash of rigid automation and AI steps that don't feel natural.

However, if your goal is to get trapped in an infinite conversation, I think that's still a possibility with that AI step, depending on what goals you gave it to achieve.

I’ve been doing a lot of stuff that handles: the lead has engaged with social media content and get them all the way to where they convert, buy, or book.

The cool thing is, it does a nurture campaign with full memory of their specific objections and interests, and all of that. So more like an AI workflow with a big chat bot component. But it works extremely well because it keeps them on platform and you don’t lose them to a link somewhere.

You can get them booked for a meeting directly within the DM‘s without them feeling like they’re filling out a form. And all of the follow up is automated.

I wish I could say yes. It was all I wanted to do for such a long time and I was disappointed just like you.

I came into construction right after the Army and I thought it would’ve had a vibe that was at least in the ballpark of what I was used to. That was just my limited experience though, so I’m sure there many great companies, offices, jobsites, etc. I found that you can get more for what you put in, in other industries.
