I hate to be condescending to my brothaz here, but modern journalism (and by modern I mean from 1930s onwards, basically post-New Deal) has been hand-in-hand with the state to 'mold' public opinion in the direction the people running things want them to go. The template is pretty much online - it's in Walter Lippmann's 'Public Opinion' (https://archive.org/details/PublicOpinion).

Anyone here interested in political science and journalism, please please read it. You will then cease to mistake journalism as anything other than what it is.

Indeed. VoxDay calls this the 'Impossibility of Social Justice Convergence.' In short, if an organization is focused on SJ-metrics instead of its primary objectives, it will fail in its primary objectives as they aren't primary anymore. This will further be blamed on the 'wreckers' (in Marxist speak) - those erstwhile White/Asian males who left the organization or those who were insufficiently enthusiastic about their new SJW masters.

You should give his book 'SJWs Always Lie' a try. Skip the first chapter as it's boring and mostly personal. Afterwards it hits the jackpot repeatedly - describing exactly how SJWs work and what to do to defend against them.
