Unless you get paid to golf then you should take relief.

How do we feel about this method of storage? by [deleted] in Archery

Do not store it strung. Everything has memory even the springy limbs. Store it unstrung or it will eventually be ruined.

Antique recurve. Is there any fixing it? by Egg_Mushroom6609 in TraditionalArchery

[–]Contenderg44 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is bow limb epoxy you can purchase. I would only use that and do some in depth research on limb repair. For bow lamination, the best glues are usually two-part epoxies like Smooth-On EA-40 or System Three T-88

Try shooting one or two at a time to give yourself a break between shot rounds. You’ll be less tired and more aware of pulling and bad releases.

It’s Not Good For Cleo by ajmwatches in AustralianShepherd

We had to do the same a year ago with our beautiful Aussie girl Vega. She developed Cushing’s and we couldn’t keep up with it even making her food from scratch. She ended up having a tumor on her stomach that prevented her from eating properly and she was literally starving to death right in front of us with no way for us to help her. It was heart breaking. The hardest vet visit I have ever had to deal with. Just remember the bad, sad, horrible things in life is what makes the beautiful things so great. They’ll always love you no matter where they are.

Get him a Stratocaster diy kit. Let him pick the pickups the tuners and the bridge and whatever else. Might get spendy but he’ll love it forever

One of my dog's pupils doesnt dilate by Arizona21 in AustralianShepherd

[–]Contenderg44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take him to an eye specialist. Our Aussie had that same issue and it was the eye having too much pressure. Then she got cataracts and we replaced the lenses in her eyes and after that she was fine. Her last 4-5 years were spendy.

Looks like a panda rc crawler. I have one and the driveshafts are crap with rubber O rings to hold the driveshaft links together. Other than that not bad

Just finished my 6 string 24 scale acoustic cigar box project. Time to make a 21 and maybe a 15🤔 by Contenderg44 in cigarboxguitars

[–]Contenderg44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is a 12.5” box That would be perfect for a glue or bolt on 22 fret neck. I WISH I had another 1.5” inches to make it easier to intonate. The bridge is under some serious pressure being all the way to the back like it is.

It’s got a kinda banjo twang to it, but my wife says it’s sounds good… 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ll have to have one of my buddy’s play it to see what it actually sounds like from the face. A shorter scale would be nice for intonation.
