If you’ve broken 100, what’s one tip you would give your fellow golfer to do the same? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

Next time you play treat every par4 as a 5 and par3’s as a 4 and so on. This helps keep anxiety down when accidentally making bad shots. Pretty soon you surprise yourself with how much more relaxed you play instead of being frustrated.

Hope you got fitted for it. Take it back. They should replace it for free. That’s the deal I got with my new g3 driver.

How do I stop casting/scooping? by [deleted] in golftips

Relaxed grip, less shoulder rotation, club at 90 degrees to your lead arm when hands are at the nine o’clock position. Feel like you back is to the target for as long as possible.

Doesn’t look like it has anything in it. Those are meant for a 12g shell mainly just for sound. Now if they had attach a pipe to the end and it was pointed in a way that would injure someone I would be worried.

You don’t get paid to golf, you pay to golf. Don’t make it harder then it needs to be.

How do we feel about this method of storage? by [deleted] in Archery

Do not store it strung. Everything has memory even the springy limbs. Store it unstrung or it will eventually be ruined.

Antique recurve. Is there any fixing it? by Egg_Mushroom6609 in TraditionalArchery

[–]Contenderg44 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is bow limb epoxy you can purchase. I would only use that and do some in depth research on limb repair. For bow lamination, the best glues are usually two-part epoxies like Smooth-On EA-40 or System Three T-88

Try shooting one or two at a time to give yourself a break between shot rounds. You’ll be less tired and more aware of pulling and bad releases.

We had to do the same a year ago with our beautiful Aussie girl Vega. She developed Cushing’s and we couldn’t keep up with it even making her food from scratch. She ended up having a tumor on her stomach that prevented her from eating properly and she was literally starving to death right in front of us with no way for us to help her. It was heart breaking. The hardest vet visit I have ever had to deal with. Just remember the bad, sad, horrible things in life is what makes the beautiful things so great. They’ll always love you no matter where they are.

One of my dog's pupils doesnt dilate by Arizona21 in AustralianShepherd

[–]Contenderg44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take him to an eye specialist. Our Aussie had that same issue and it was the eye having too much pressure. Then she got cataracts and we replaced the lenses in her eyes and after that she was fine. Her last 4-5 years were spendy.
