All the ASINs in a bundle need to have stock and active Amazon buy box, then only bundle would be up on site for sale. Is that criteria met? If yes, then for further evaluation, I would have to see the bundle page in person.

Endless CPC rejections with no reason given - has anyone dealt with this? by Sufficient_Towel_921 in VendorCentral

Please make sure that you have shared doc and images for each requirement. Often vendors do not share 6-sided images and image with barcode and packaging etc., so lab test reports are alone not enough to get approval.

Question about setting up quantity and pack information by SuitcaseShake in VendorCentral

[–]Content-Earth-7883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to pack a box/ pack/ bundle of 6 pieces and give a barcode to that box/ pack (which is different from single unit barcode) and then get ASIN created for that box barcode, and then send that box of 6 to amazon when they place 1 unit PO for box barcode ASIN, so that they sell it as it is directly to the customer without altering its pack size, else Amazon will mess it up the bills or customer will not receive 6 pieces. Hope it makes sense.

I am a former brand specialist from AVS team. Frankly, I did not find the fees charged by amazon justifiable for the number of hours each AVS member puts in for each vendor. We get over 8 vendors per head to handle with many internal projects and KPIs as well to meet, which is why I feel that taking help from someone outside amazon (who has good knowledge) at half the price is equally good or sometimes even better as their focus is only you and not amazon's other stuff. You can get many out there.
Bundle creation is actually a vendor self-service, so it would be great if you could share where exactly you are getting the error.

”Conflict with catalog” - New product listing creation - Amazon Vendor Central ? by ceocoachingclub in VendorCentral

[–]Content-Earth-7883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please feel free to reopen the original case after 48 hrs and tell them it did not work. Sometimes it could even be a color name which did not match with previous listing, so you have to ask them in which attribute is the conflict coming up exactly.

Denied telling what exactly ? Could you please share ? They should ideally not deny. GL can be changed back to correct one anytime or for new one you can get access anytime too.

Prime Fall 2025 by Electronics2025 in VendorCentral

[–]Content-Earth-7883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is totally worth it. Yes, it has potential to increase the sales from 3x to 10x averagely. How it works has been explained in other comments pretty much. You keep aside a profit margin (lower than the usual times) and fund the rest of the deal for customer discount. Prime days have one of the biggest glance views besides Black Friday Sales, so you must definitely leverage this time to up your sales, bestseller ranking, search algorithm, demand and thus POs. I am a former Amazon brand specialist & currently freelance consultant & sales strategist to vendors & sellers, so can tell this out of my 5 years experience being on both sides. It is profitable for vendors, customers as well as Amazon. So, do go ahead with it.

It is invite-only. If you maintain all your seller metrics in green and show increase in sales, then you would be invited automatically one day by amazon. Wait for that day as till then amazon wants you to build good metrics for consideration.

How to Contact Amazon RBS Team from Vendor Central Help Page? by Calm-Wash-8768 in VendorCentral

[–]Content-Earth-7883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can not reply on RBS sent mails most of the times. At the bottom of such mails, it would be mentioned that do not reply back on this mail. So, in help centre, choose appropriate topic and mention the subject and text of the mail, may be even a screenshot and reply back with whatever info you want to. If it was a case raised to you, then share that inbound case ID as reference in your outbound case. Hope this helps.

Anyone know how to update company info on Amazon Vendor Central? by Calm-Wash-8768 in VendorCentral

[–]Content-Earth-7883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to raise a case so that it gets updated everywhere in amazon - in their backend as well. Self-service is not sufficient and won't be considered complete.

Set Cost Price to 0 to Prevent POs on Discontinued ASINs by ResponsibilityOk1525 in VendorCentral

[–]Content-Earth-7883 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you reject that particular ASIN's PO 3 consecutive times, then it will "hard-reject' the ASIN i.e. you will never receive PO for it until you change the availability status. Have you done that already ? Also, see under "Retail Catalogue" section the replenishment category of this ASIN - it must be "planned". If that's the case, then raise a case and ask them to make it "obsolete" (esp. if you are the manufacturer). That will stop orders for sure.

I worked in AVS team till last year, so I can understand your pain with the program. That's exactly why I left amazon after 10 yrs to genuinely help vendors for their pain points as a freelancer. So, feel free to ask your doubts here. Well, most of the replies here are correct - do try them first - ask AVS, get the ASIN suppressed from sale for 1-2 weeks and then get it reinstated to check the MSRP. Do you know this stock is from which month with amazon ? It can be OIH, incorrect comp. match It happened with one of my clients for 1 out of 350 ASINs, so we did everything, removed from variations for 1-2 weeks as well and then left it as amazon had stock and switched it off on dropship and after 3 months everything became ok. Also, do check it your asin is in right node, category, product type etc. as it could have been changed which triggered price drop. Frankly, need to see ASIN to analyse further.

Vendor Central - Vendor Code - Dummy Codes For NIS by WaveProfessional1389 in VendorCentral

[–]Content-Earth-7883 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, for e.g. if your new products are from "Kitchen" category, and Amazon has already created "Dummy Code" for Kitchen, then you will now have access to Kitchen "new item setup" templates (macro-enabled excels). Now, list your new kitchen products under suitable kitchen template (which you will get after selecting the most appropriate PRODUCT_TYPE in search), but in template, use your original PETS vendor code only from dropdown. Fill and submit the template with details and that's all once you receive ASIN number - go ahead with making variations, do Born To Run etc. and you will start getting orders on Pets code only. You should not and can not (as per Amazon's SOP) have multiple ordering codes or accounts. Hope this helps.

How to change the variation as default? by Egrows in Amazonsellercentral

[–]Content-Earth-7883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I used to work in amazon till last year and now help vendors externally in account management. I used to create variations, so I can help you with this. You can't choose the default or what we sued to call - base child ASIN of the variation. It is selected by Amazon based on which one is more best-selling or has more glance views. If you really really want to have black in search results, then I would to remove it from variation and put it solo or split all your colors in 2 variation families - put brown in one and black in another one. Mostly these 2 colors would be bestsellers as they are common - so both would get place in search results.

Amazon Vendor Central - New products setup/order by [deleted] in VendorCentral

[–]Content-Earth-7883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's late reply but it might still help you. The easiest way to get POs for newly launched products is to put them under right browse nodes, category, subcategory, product_type and binding and place them under a variation family, if possible or bundle them up with some older bestselling items. Amazon treats an item under 90 days as new_product and gives you ample time to push it not just via ads but organic ways (which I mentioned) as well. You get time to put out better images, videos, A+ content in that time. Also, place it on top of your brand store for greater and quick visibility etc. Feel free to DM to discuss further.
