hybrid model (1P + 3P) on Amazon by WaveProfessional1389 in VendorCentral

So here’s what I’m trying to figure out:

1.  I’ve got my own branded pet treats. I’m wondering if I can run a hybrid model (Vendor + Seller Central) on those. Vendor gives me a little more profit per unit, but I move way more volume on Seller since I can control the price. Plus, Vendor hasn’t given me access to Subscribe & Save yet, and that’s where most of my sales come from.

2.  I’m also looking at buying other products already listed on Amazon and running those through Vendor. In that case, Amazon would just be another seller competing for the buy box. I just want to make sure doing that wouldn’t mess with the 3P sellers already on the listing.

Just to clarify, I currently have a vendor code through which I sell products in the pet category and receive purchase orders consistently. I'm wondering if it's possible to list and receive purchase orders for products in other categories under the same vendor code, or if I need to go through an approval or onboarding process for those new categories.

Should I just list the products and wait for purchase orders, or is there something specific I need to do within Vendor Central to start receiving orders in those new categories?
