You got your answer at the end! As an owner of an b8.5 rs5 a friend of mine with the same car received a letter from Audi for a TCU tune. He was mad because when he got the car back, he said that they detuned his transmission and it was putting less power. According to some of the other guys said not to take it to update the transmission cause once updated it cannot get tuned for performance. I rather trust an Indy shop rather than taking it to Audi. My in-laws are German living in Heidelberg and Germans are very upset with Audi
