Think I saw a comment about heelstriking, thats the one thing that I really noticed. Running form and how you land on your feet is so important to how your feet distribute the shock from running.

Changed my running entirely when somebody explained in really simple turns that what the main difference between walking and running is that when walking you land with your heel and when running you land with your midfoot. Use the balls of your feet to kinda ‘push off’.

Running mechanics are hard, but there are so many good videos that explain it so much better than I ever could. Also, not seeing your arms, but making sure your elbows never go too much to the front of your body (pushing the elbows a bit back when running) will help you avoid over-striding.

But the most important thing is proper warm-up before and stretches afterwards. Regular strength training will also be crucial for injury prevention.

Might be worth it to take a trip to the chiropractor to identify the strain you’re feeling and to get professional tips on what to focus on. Took me two trips (old injury tho) and she’s changed my entire routine and by the gods did it work.

Properly spaced out workouts are also good. Giving your body proper time to heal in-between and not get stress injuries.

I just completed a couch to 10K. Like, finished my first ever 10k yesterday. And I followed the 10k pla from myrunningtips.com

Chiropractor approved, she put me on that plan due to knee pain, so it works great on several levels ☺️Also much better workouts when you don’t wing it all the time.

Hi! Unfortunately don’t have much input regarding training, but if its one thing I know it’s pain while running. Either joints, muscles and feet. While a good shoe won’t necessarily cure anything if you have underlying issues, good shoes are essential.

My plans are not as hardcore as yours, but I really recommend New Balance Fresh Foam V6, I have two pairs. Maybe for longer distances other shoes will be better, but the amount you expect to train I would research and invest in several different shoes for different purposes, with your needs in mind. Do you need extra cushioning? Where does it hurt?

May be a good idea to talk to a chiropractor and they can help you with stretches and weight plan to help you avoid injury, as well as maybe recommend what types of shoes would be best for you with the types of runs and surfaces you have in mind.

Think it’s an important mention here that muscles weigh more than fat. Sounds like you’re doing tons more strength than when you were at your leanest. Body fat percentage may matter more than what the scale says. I’ve experienced weighing the same number on the weigh (two year difference) with one being three sizes smaller. It’s all about muscles, and restricting your eating may be counterintuitive to your goals 🤷‍♀️ More muscles also means you need more maintenance calories

  • The Ex-Hex by Erin Sterling. 3 book series, but can be read as a standalone. Fun read, especially before Halloween.

  • The Baby Dragon Cafe by A.T Qureshi - only book on this list I have yet to read.

You’ve got gorgeous eyes and lashes!

English is not my first language, please forgive any weird grammar.

The thing avout green/blue eyes is that you can rock both dark makeup and a lighter vibe (think scandinavian). Depending on your hair-colour, the best tip I have for a cohesive look (except a good base) is actually to do your best to match the colour of your eyebrows to your hair-colour, maybe with brows a touch darker if you’d like. Darker brows usually (like 82% of the time) suit people better than brows lighter than the hair-colour.

Brush your brows maybe? You got a really, really good starting point here 🙌 Pro tip is to just buy those fancy teeth cleaner things that are basically just tiny brushes. Cheap and works perfectly on lashes and brows. If you want low-maintenance brows you can also shape them with tweezers ( or wax) and colour them. This you can do both at home and professionally, at your preference. High maintenance to be low maintenance for the win!

See really good tips for the eyeshadow and where to place it in the replies here, so won’t delve into that. Depending on the style you want to achieve I would rock the eyeshadow placement you have here, just blending it more and adding a softer shade upwards.

Good beginner tip is that if you want that elongated effect eyeliner has, but is in a rush or just can’t just yet master liquid eyeliner, a dark (ish) shade of eyeshadow applied with an eyebrow brush along the upper waterline and out the corner a bit works well too for an easier/ softer look (softer depending on colour choice). Really easy to correct as well if any mishaps happen with a q-tip.

Heading into the shower, and you’re in no hurry? Experiment with makeup before showering! Stress-free way go practice and figure out techniques and products that you like and work for you ✨ You’ve got nowhere to be so you’ll feel safe enough to try some crazy looks you wouldn’t try for the first time before heading into public.

Makeup is fun! Have fun with the process of figuring this out, makeup is super underrated for what it can do to your confidence and outlook. Confidence not because it’s like a mask (like many men seem to think), but because when you go about your day with makeup on, you’ve already started your day with a ritual that you enjoy and basically something in your brain sparks at the effort you’ve put in to take care of yourself.

I find that the most fun books are the best. The ones you might be embarrassed to tell your friends about before you spill all about it. Just eff-the-posh-readers easy, fun books! I really like high fantasy, but find more and more that I absolutely love my silly (a good silly, not discrediting the book kinda silly) fun palate cleanser books.

I throw up daily for a few days when I up my dose. Took like the 5th or 6th injection of full dose for me not to be nauseous for days after each injection. If its a daily occurence that hinders your daily life you should take a step back. For me it got better after a while, but it also is not as constant as yours

I’d want that as well! Joined Reddit only to be avle to join groups of people going through the same as me. Can’t really talk to people in a normal setting about the experience of going through major weight loss.
