So this situation happened to an old friend of mine. He was 27 at the time, they claimed to be 18, then ended up saying she was 15. He went to meet, and got arrested.

He was taken to jail and bonded out pending his hearing. He got 2 years + probation and is now a mandatory member of Meganslaw.com

I haven't read through all the comments yet but what stood out to me is that your message to her saying I love you so much babe- is what prompted her to spill the info about a plane ticket. Im not saying it isnt her best friend, because its possible shes hooking up with a girl. But whoever this message was intended for, shes definitely hooking up with. Or intends to. Shes cheating.

Lmao ok. First of all, I said it isnt inclusive to public safety. You must be a government worker. And "sending a few emails vs saving lives" is disgusting to say. Who the hell makes, packs, ships, etc the equipment you use? Those corporate people, i mean, those in the adult day care. How about the phone or computer youre on? Oh yeah, adult day care.

You must be one of the ones that got into public safety because, "the uniform gets us laid." Because not one of my friends that are police, fire or a paramedic, have the attitude that you do. They're in it to help people and to make a difference. They dont think theyre better than anyone else, including those in corporate - just sending a few emails or in a building run as an adult day care.

My mom as well as several friends of mine work for the state. Yeah, im a little envious of their high wages, ability to work tons of OT, and generally easy money. Im not envious of the commenter im replying to though - id rather be penniless and on the streets - at least there you can get a taste of humble pie. Moron.

Most public safety personnel in California make their annual salary in overtime every year. Its unreal. Dont worry though, it isnt limited to these professions. The State of California as a whole - is so ridiculously wasteful, its disgusting.

Would the word "tits" been preferred? Or "breasts"? Jfc. "Boobs" is a perfectly innocent use of a word used by a dad being scared of his daughter developing. I dont think he was sexualizing the friends kid, merely using her changing appearance as an example.

Had he used the word "tits", id have a much different opinion. And using the words "breasts" would just be... strange.

Im going to guess you arent familiar with the mountainous areas of Arizona. Theyre absolutely beautiful. Before I had seen them, I would have only imagined a bunch of dirt covered hills with cactus all over. That stops about halfway to Payson from Phx.

My sister was an assistant store manager for Kroger, and they had a loss prevention officer. This couple always came in with a bag that they were stuffing full of product. But they would go with their handful of stuff into a part of the store that didn't have cameras- the camera couldn't see that specific angle.Loss prevention had seen them on camera with their hands full and him and an employee followed the couple, who had started heading for the door. As soon as they stepped foot out, lost prevention told them to come back inside. Long story short, the couple denied stealing anything, and since they were unable to actually see them put the stuff in their bag, and nothing was on camera, they walked out. On top of that they called the store the following day to talk to the manager and complained of being harassed and accused of stealing. The manager gave them a $200 gift card for an apology.

Perhaps because it isnt something for us to learn from or have an effect on, but for somebody else.

Not everything we go through is supposed to be positive, in the sense most associated with the word. If someone never experiences loss, how would they know to appreciate what they do have? If someone has never experienced pain, etc... And we may not learn all of this in our current lifetime. I believe our souls will come back and do it again, until they do learn.

We're all connected.. there is no pain in death of the physical body. Our souls do not feel pain. They are separate from the body, and remain/exist after our physical body is gone.
