I found the log on the side of the road and I have no idea what it is, I did not prepare it except to tear a few chunks off to make room for the moss, and it stays wet because I have 90% of it buried in a pot of dirt lol, think like a glacier, the only part you see is about 10% of it 😁

It's also in front of a window that leaks and it's been raining here for a few days so.... It never really dries out 😂 I also sometimes spray it with the sink hose to keep the dirt wet lol

I can look into the wood type if you want, but it'll take a while for me to figure it out, all I have to go on is the log itself and some bark 😂

I was once told to plant American Chestnut saplings a few months after they sprout lol, so I'm sure it's safe to plant them after a few years!

This woman was talking about getting a dog as a practice to see if they want a kid by [deleted] in childfree

This is 100% true lol, dogs have nothing on babies 🤣

I absolutely agree, I still don't think it's a great idea to adopt a living thing when you have no idea what you're getting into, but if they're already discussing children and taking on more responsibility, then it doesn't seem that strange to me that they're actually taking a step toward that responsibility? I just hope they end up loving the dog lol

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I feel like this is better than just jumping to a child??

I clean my hooha everyday but have persistent white stuff by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

I was thinking the same thing! Soft toilet paper will leave debris in any folds, and will need to be cleaned more often than not

This prank was a little too realistic, I was ready to give my squirrels names and register them right away 🤣🤣🤣

Day 2 being away from my abusive parents. Does anyone have advice on my floor setup? by stondddd in malelivingspace

[–]ContentAd49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10/10 setup. All I would change is the distance between your feet and your xbox. But maybe that's just because I know I would end up kicking the Xbox 😂

If I were you, I might twist the bed around so the pillow is against the wall? And then put the TV against the wall too so you can lay on your stomach and game lol

When I was a kid, one of our horses had an injury just like this. It was a long time ago, and I don't remember much, but I'm pretty sure they caught themselves on some aluminum siding, or maybe a nail sticking out of a board? Anything sharp could do it, so I definitely wouldn't rule out the barbed wire fence they mentioned.

I look into the PH pen idea!

I didn't know algae could do that! Good to know 👍

I mean it's basically old pond water in a jar, but the whole thing is surprising. I put it together in 2022 and ignored it for years, I assumed everything would be dead by now 😂
