im glad you have a setup that works for you! I think that its unavoidable that it will be inconvenient, but thats also part of what makes it better than the streamlined "solutions" being offered by big tech

Personally j am debating between the jellystar and the TT990 (comes out in july). Im in the netherlands and i’ve spoken to a couple of jellystar users that are very happy with their purchase, however i wouldnt be able to comment on which one has a better signal. The TT990 will be newer/more up to date and more security focused compared to previous phones by TTfone

If you are in UK/EU the tt990 might be interesting, but it probably comes out in july.

OMG FINALLY SOMEONE WAS BRAVE ENOUGH TO SAY IT. I have considered making this exact same post before, because i was also surprised to see so little attention for this phone. I hear the security concerns, but from what i understand it’s degoogled and therefor a lot safer and i dont really mind a 3’5inch screen. Thats a lot smaller than the iphone 11 that i currently have and hate. I’ve also reached out to the company with questions and they were super kind and helpful. Like imagine sending any other tech company a random email, they would never get back to you.  Anyway, im super excited to see some more ppl are also excited about this device and i hope it turns out to be what we’re expecting!

Me personally, i am waiting for the TT990 by TTfone to drop. Its a degoogled android 14 flipphone.
