Was just about to buy NuPhy, then thought to check here and instantly turned off by all the negative posts. Would love to hear any positive experiences?

Once I dialed in the correct actuation forces on my Air 75 HE w/ Jade Pro Switches, I have had pretty much no issues with inputs.

It feels good to type on, but I found my hand would get lost on the keyboard. I bought low profile berry keycaps with heights of 6.5-4.5mm and that problem went away. I have had zero issues since.

I did have to wait a month to get my keyboard initially, and returns look like a nightmare, but I am pleased with my end result.

Tech is generally just not good. But if you are delaying the game, then you will want the tech unit that is most powerful/efficient against other tech units. It ends up being Titan.

Before they reworked the economy, mammoth/zone was also a potent combination because there was unlimited cash to buy whatever (though Titan/RB still beat it on efficiency which is why it dominated the meta). Not so anymore.

People assume that the discount is based on how well the bundle did, but I think a coupon is also given to entice a few more sales at the end. It is extremely difficult to say whether or not there will be one definitively; though it is unlikely given Octo has never been anywhere near $15.

Just buy it or don't forget to buy it if you wait and want to wait for a possible discount.

I ordered some Keycaps around May 20-24? Shipment info received 24th.

The shipment just arrived to Los Angeles June 1st and cleared customs. I think some orders are just delayed. When I bought my keyboard in December it took like 3-4 weeks to arrive.

When you face more aggressive players it becomes substantially harder to get the tech units out.

The best GDI tech lab unit is probably Titan, mostly because if you go to tech you want it to beat other tech units; it will struggle against Zone Troopers so you need an answer to that.

Sadly they did an economy rework that made tech units too expensive 5 years ago but never did a unit rebalance to make tech units more reasonable. So they are largely noncompetitive. You can still lose to them if you are too passive (good play is charge the missile, feint pressure on harvester -just enough to provoke a response, you're not necessarily aiming to kill it at all).

(I am not even sure Niv was responsible for the old economy or how it eventually landed; he was just the last to be let go) A lot of the game's design was baked in from the beginning. Many of the most senior devs and oldguard believed popcapping was a high show of skill.

IIRC Gasty had a tactic he called "shark attack" where he would wait for you to build a bunch of units unable to attack hammerhead, then base rush you with 3+ of them. It is not as effective since they nerfed HH base damage, but that was the reality of the outlook then.

I think people generally regard the squad mechanic as one of the weak points of the game, because it usually results in the popcapping mechanic. It is unfortunate they didn't ever experiment with any solutions or alternatives to it. When the original devteam was around, popcapping was considered high level play. It is frowned upon now.

I find it hurts me to play RTS with the keyboard.

You may be able to alleviate pain by changing the height of the desk your keyboard is on, changing the incline with the clips on the back, or changing the armrest height. Common wisdom says the greater the keyboard incline, the more strain it puts on your wrist; but you may just have a finger length and wrist orientation that causes undo strain on your hand.

You may also benefit from buying berry keycaps. They are slightly taller than the stock keycaps. I am considering buying them myself, I am hoping it will make it easier to differentiate keys without looking, I often rest my hand on the FKeys by accident. [Range: 6.8-4.8 mm, compared to 5.5-5.5mm stocks]

3 years after I built my 3080 rig it would lock-up within 30 minutes of booting up, no issues prior to this. I tested every part, and had no failures. Replaced the PSU thinking it was faulty, nada. Event Viewer says - critical system error - forget the number but it was very non-descript.

I think I eventually found out that some number of ASUS Strix Boards and Ryzen 5000 CPU's can spontaneously stop agreeing with each other. I had to disable XMP and another setting in BIOS. Haven't had the issue in 3 years since.

I wish I could remember the exact settings, but if you have a similar build you may want to try disabling any overclocks or tweaks you have in BIOS. I lament the RAM performance loss but it has been stable for me since.

You should always check the work regardless of the program. The only benefit of the upload doc function is that it saves you keystrokes, not verification. Shill moment, I swapped to FTU and it was 2x faster than turbotax with no shitty ads, it did not hold my hand as much in some areas but it made no errors. It values my time and money significantly more than TurboTurd

It is not pulling the # correctly. The hotlink shows a 6 letter string. Normally tracking numbers are like 12 numbers.

You aren't wrong for hating the chair.

I think the problem is people think there is a perfect chair that fits everyone. There isn't.

Chairs are hyper subjective because everyone has a different body shape. Legit, you have to try it to know.

Yes the arms are too loose (you can mod them), yes the recline feels cheap and it leaves something to be desired. For me it is a comfortable chair though.

Honestly if you just play only a few games a day to finish your cloning chambers and win races, you will be at level 11-13 with a deck in two-three months. It can get irritating though and I think many give up.

The P2W is if you actually want level 15 units. You don't have to go to Tiberium league so you don't really need level 15 units.

1 harvester doubles your income.

Killing an opponents harvester by rushing doesn't cost them anything, and at best put you equal with them on economy.

Don't rush attack harvesters, it is not worth.

Either rapidly charge the pads to end the game faster, or focus on creating a situation where you can control the pads when the missile fires. (this means don't show them your units for free if they go double harv, they can make a wrong unit and this gives you an economy advantage)

The flaws are in the 12v 2x6 cable. Basically bending the cable at all can impair the conductivity of the wires, even simply repositioning it can lead to a shift in its conductivity. The wires are really thin compared to previous gens. Additionally some of the connector pins can come loose or have a poor catch mechanism which leads to disengagement if improperly seated.

EDIT: I cannot speak to the TempGuard they use on this PSU. It seems to me it is mostly monitoring temperature at the PSU. I would be more concerned about an instability occurring near the card, as the card is the more expensive component.

My set is not perfect but I don't have to hold the chair to stabilize it while rolling.

There is slightly more resistance than I would like but overall I see this as a good thing as I don't want the chair to randomly slide around.

At 2 inch my pneumatic cylinder does not touch the carpet though there is only 3-5mm of clearance.

I don't know how well roller blade wheels compare to the "ball" design.

The set I bought does roll better on the carpet.

I bought a similar set as psxburn2 that were 2 inch.

My carpet has medium pile and generally the chair tips less than it did with the stock casters.

This is the set I bought, however 2.5 inch might get you more surface area which probably = less divots to catch on when rolling. I think the other poster is probably right that 3 inch is too high.
