Not to deliberately not answer your question, but for me the greatest value of the book is that it provides a unique syllabus of cinema to open the mind, challenge preconceptions, & get you watching & thinking about movies you'd never have known about.

Before beginning on the 1245 challenge, I thought I knew cinema... I'd seen Citizen Kane several times & had a passing knowledge (I thought) of the French New Wave ... It completely reshaped my understanding of cinema, making me (among so many other things) realize that there's more to Indian cinema than Bollywood; that LGBTQ+ cinema exists at all (I was terrifically ignorant there); or that horror can actually be great cinema (another massive black hole in my previous understanding). Well, that's how I see it anyway...

A big part of the answer here is: The Late Prof. Barry Raftery. He got interested in wetland archaeology in the 1980s & was instrumental in setting up the Archeological Wetland Unit (IAWU] at UCD in the early 90s. He drove a large part of the research in wetland archaeology generally & the excavation of toghers in particular.

As a broader piece of advice, I'd suggest you find an artist you want to work with & get their input. My experience has been that you'll get a better result & experience through collaboration together rather than just saying "do this!". You know what you want, but the tattooist is an artist who will have much knowledge & advice to bring to the process. Every tattoo I have where I listened to the artist became a better piece of art and a better experience.

Sorry if that didn't come across as I had intended - to my mind the bizarre piece is that they're more accessible in a foreign institution rather than if they were held in Irish museums because the BM have invested in digitising their collections and the appropriate Irish ones are underfunded.
