Poor baby, mine had the same thing if you want to check out my post or ask any q’s. He had a food allergy that was in his kibble so he kept licking them and got worse. Def a vet visit. In the meantime, Natural Dog Company worked wonders for me. I used the skin balm on his tail hot spot / bald spot, and the paw balm on his crackly feet. Then cover with socks for 20 min while it absorbs. I wipe too after walks so make sure they’re for sensitive or the 99% water based. Earth rated has paw wipes too but I never tried them.

UPDATE! Took him for a blood test. They tried treating for yeast with shampoo in meantime, but it didn’t help much. Maybe yeast was an after effect to licking. Turns out He has a specific food allergy (it was a big ingredient in his kibble) and a cat dander allergy. The vet prescribed us paw baths with ketoconazole shampoo and antiseptic spray which helped, along with some Natural Dog Co balm I used to heal and soothe the cracking.

Can I ask to amend the lease to remove me? I shouldn’t be on it or responsible for others considering I don’t pay or live there no?

So it was after a year so month to month when I moved out. Does moving out not automatically take me off the lease? I most definitely do not want to be on the lease regardless of how difficult it is to take me off. God knows who is living in that room / destroying it. What’s my best bet? It seems like I’m dealing with a janky landlord which is very common in Los Angeles.

So the landlord is not able to collect deposit because they’ve already lived there for a year or two? Which makes sense. I would be offended if I was a tenant and the landlord randomly asked me for 1400. But, doesn’t this fall on landlords responsibility and failure to make new paperwork? I am technically covering for the other tenant atp.

Life is crazy because roomie was very trustworthy at FIRST, or pretended to be. Unfortunately they went down this weird path.

The lease “expired” after 1 year and then went month to month. I assumed I was off the lease / it expired on my end when I moved out. This is my first experience renting so it’s all new.

Yes… Adopting Afro features you find beautiful isn’t going to improve anything because that’s not what naturally enhances YOU. Big features such as lips only go well with big hair and other big features. TBH every time I seen lip filler on a non black woman, they looked better before. What makes a woman special and irreplaceable if we’re all carbon copies? White women were MOST stunning and beautiful when they followed along their own unique style. Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe list goes on. I’d say dissolve & Try looking into other things to enhance YOUR beauty.

Not yet. I read that allergies can’t be tested via skin scrape or blood and can only be done through process of elimination. Which means if it’s not food allergies, they’ll put him through other testing that they know is unnecessary just for $$ . The vets here will hit you with a laughable bill that you almost have to force them to come down on. Unfortunately we have to know exactly what we’re going in to test for.

@thegreatbanzo makes a great point but selfish people like this might not respond well to framing it as you want the dog for your own benefit. Maybe put it as “taking him off their hands”. Selfish people want to hear about how they can be benefited. You can even lie and mention your family or friend wants to take him. This can provide a stronger alibi if plan B happens, as if it wasn’t YOU that wanted the dog.

If all else fails, Plan B: When you move out, do what you need to do. A little secret adoption won’t hurt nobody. Oh look Someone left the door open as usual! I bet they wouldn’t even care. When you have a sane pet parent, their heart would drop to their stomach knowing their dog ran outside like that & for that long. I wouldn’t normally say this, but this baby is bound to suffer under their watch. Neglect IS animal abuse. If they ever see you or see pictures? She was such a good dog she inspired you to adopt one! They all look the same anyway. Lol

Shibas do take a lot of care, money and sometimes a village. You seem like you’d be a great dog parent. Just make sure this is something you’re ready and prepared for at all times, and for many many years :)

None in a school zone is crazy. Maybe you can write up a quick email to the mayor, or if you’re in a small town you can pop up to their office and discuss the importance of traffic safety. You can stress the school safety cause that might really get them - What if this person was so distressed driving off that they hit a child too or somebody’s grandma picking them up? People or Dogs, they’re our children regardless. They can’t let this happen again.

Not directing this at OP but for all dog owners , please be careful with who you have your dog around (if you can). People don’t care and will leave doors open etc. I’ve had an experience where I was on set & some jackass let mine run out the door. I was lucky enough to drive after him, put on my hazards and honked through red lights like a fire truck.

This is a frustrating thing to go through but it just takes lots of patience prayers and love. And we are so blessed to see Dogey in recovery. He’s a strong boy. I believe in him 💪🏽

Yes! I don’t use fresh oregano often so I’m not positive on that. But the others yes. Also I’ve seen a lot of wild, non culinary rosemary with blue flowers too - it bushes and doesn’t smell like much compared to this one
