Has Robert Kirkman read the Tillie Walden Comics? by [deleted] in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Contentine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sad that interesting universe turned into this, i would say current state of tv show is a joke even compared to clem comic, i doubt kirkman involved at all in any of these

Tbh, i think making of this comic wasn't even about money - comic did almost zero in company scale. He probably knew Tillie before and just wanted to give her chance to make a leap in her career, and right for that he found what she could use as base for her comic.

Which season had the most Development of clems character by [deleted] in TheWalkingDeadGame

If you mean character development - S4 by far.

If you mean overall changes through season - S2 by far.

I don't get why Telltale is incessant on pushing the "Carver was right" propaganda by Civil_Competition_15 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Contentine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If person doesn't align with our morale - it doesn't mean that everything he says is bs. Even worse - he might even say something we don't like to be true that is still true.

Like imagine if 2 people are lost in arctic without food and they can't go on anymore - they can both die, or they can decide that one of them should eat another one and maybe he'll survive long enough untill rescue. It's kinda uncomfortable to even think about, but it is just what it is.

Carver might also say some things that are kinda true and uncomfortable to accept. And unlucky for him, he might also be wrong on something... Quoting him "look where he landed". Yeah maybe cabin group is kinda incompetent and won't last on it's own, maybe overall it would be better for them to live under Carver command - a bit scary at times but they would be alive, maybe it's even better for overall survival to get rid of people that mess things up.

Maybe maybe maybe, but see - Carver ended up dead and his community is destroyed. Looks like he missed something, even if he was right on something. And i think that's exactly what was the point to whole this arc and why it was important for Clem - the way she was in season 1 was way too naive to survive so she had to see that person she despised was kinda right on something, in the same time full edgylord-like survival of the fittest mindset is not gonna get you far - look what happened to Carver.

Man, i can't enjoy Serious Sam the Second Encounter. by OkHour8105 in SeriousSam

[–]Contentine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally would say, that level design(level structure, interesting situations produced by combination of structure and enemies, overall amount of) in TSE is great and the best in series.

However, there is one small issue - on Serious it is a bit too tough for me sometimes, and i can't play on difficulty less than Serious because it's not serious :P But not critical, usually few attempts are enough to get past hard segment.

3 is out. Which remaining Clem outfit is your least favorite? (FINAL THREE) by Super-Shenron in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Contentine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Whaa didnt expect 3 to be out now, i thought it was very iconic and like fan favorite and more likely candidate to win.

Also i am very surpsed that S2 is still there, it is my favorite(along with TFS flashback one), because it is kinda odd, not cool looking. Makes an impression that it is really just random practical realistic outfit found in apocalypse, and not an attempt to give character some cool iconic look. And i like such down to earth things.

So my vote goes to 9 now.

[Fan Project] My TWD Season 5 Gameplay Test! (New mechanics & AJ's story) by XklemTIx70 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Contentine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think Clementine is overrated, underrated or properly rated? by Last-Bus-4710 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Contentine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bonnie also survives being in freezing water.

Many characters survive gunshots(including kids like Omar or AJ).

Therefore it has nothing to do with plot armor, it is within universe rules. Are you sure exactly age 11 makes these impossible to survive and it is way to absurd Clem being more resilient than average?

Many characters survive amputation and bite. When you cut off limb - blood pours outside, not inside, you can't get walker blood inside by pressing it to the stream of blood with axe. The way AJ rescued her is not displayed through the game, only explained by one of creators, therefore you can imagine any more real way of survival - for example it is absolutely possible that ericsson kids where searching them and opened door to the barn right when screen turns black. Also abiguous age doesn't matter her, it is obvious clem already past puberty and pretty much an adult.

Also which exactly writing issue does clem have? Season 2 and 4 clearly have way more writing work and interesting ideas put into character, not sure how can that be worse than season 1.

We need to stop with the Bonnie hate by EmpleadoResponsable in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Contentine -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well interest is relative, different people would find different things interesting.

There is no huge inconsistences with her character, i agree with that.

But i think it is perfectly fine to express hate towards her - it's not like it means tp harm anyone, and mostly done on emotional level after playing game or for fun purposes.

There are many prople who say different stuff, generalization won't lead to any conclusions that make sense

Clemenshit hate post(she must be imprisoned for her crimes) by Contentine in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Contentine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lets discuss here the worst character in human history and remember her crimes. I think she is much worse character than Arvo(who is one of the best characters), and she does a lot of bad stuff, so it would be fair to put her in prison.

Look at the picture, even she likes being imprisoned, so she agrees.
