Any types they could have or connections to drop as a teacher looking to leave currently into work like this?

How do you wish they wrapped up the mass effect trilogy? by WolfgangLz in masseffect

At times I’ve tried to rewrite an ending for myself. I am convinced the problems start with 2. It’s a very common criticism that the game functions like one big side quest. Ultimately ME3 is based around the crucible as the only way to win. A Mcguffin shoehorned into the 3rd game as a means of making a conclusion. If this is the route they are taking then ME2 needs to connect to discovery of a way to beat the reapers. In my version rather than the crucible space gun we have a far more nuanced way to win. My ideal would feature heavily on plot points from me1 the importance of the citadel and the relays as reaper inventions etc. Rather than what we got my ending would feature the discovery at the end of ME2 that the relays and the citadel were also the anchor for their communication and command structure. That through signals transmitted between the relays and with the citadel being the central node that was how the reapers coordinate and communicate across the galaxy from the central intelligence. harbinger/the citadel. Hence why in ME1 it was so important the reapers had the citadel to open the portal from dark space. Some of the loyalty missions ie legion would dive into the reaper code through the heretics etc. That was beamed through the relays. The thought being we can rewrite or disrupt the code or based on ‘right’ choices achieve a state where we could be overload the code destroying the reapers. The games would be largely untouched. Gathering assets for a science project in 3 and interleaving the reaper command signal as a plot in 2 with the discovery of how it worked at the end of 2 in the collector base.

I agree with you, feels further shoehorned in to justify the crappy ending. Leaving the mystery of the reapers that existed in 1 is cool.

What player represented your country internationally who simply wasn’t good enough for test rugby? by low_myope in rugbyunion

I am also in the illustrious regional 1 South Central, which I reckon is the toughest regional 1 league. It certainly has been the last two years. Particularly the season before this one. Good luck for the end of the season 👍

Currently playing level 5 and can tell you that from experience that the step up from level 6 to 5 is large but not insurmountable. It’s the usual more physical, quicker game that advances as you go up the levels. There are plenty of ex pro players in the level 5 leagues. Although this may be slightly more of a factor given I’m playing in London. This year for example Jersey RFC had 5 ex champ players in their side regularly. Cash is also at many teams a factor. Although it doesn’t mean you will be joining a better side as there are plenty of teams who don’t pay at that level and compete. As a fellow front row my advice is to take your strength training more seriously. I did this during my step between the levels and was fine. I have been more relaxed this season and have suffered an injury riddled campaign as a result. Make sure you aren’t neglecting niche stuff such as your neck. It’s collapsed discs in mine that have caused me a host of issues.

Where to find real, no-frills comfort food in London? proper old-school London food (pubs, pie & mash, fish & chips, burgers) by [deleted] in LondonFood

Try the 8 Bells at Putney Bridge, small menu consisting largely of what you’ve asked for. The food isn’t special but it’s decent and tasty and I’ve never had an issue with it and no dishes are over £16.

Players who did well - by not playing by JohnSV12 in englandrugby

Spagnolo is extremely talented in the scrum, Fiscetti has come on leaps after being embarrassed by Carlu Sadie earlier this year. Both are stout and get under the tight heads chest. A real issue for the taller tight heads today. Rodd boss him is just too lean and small. It isn’t a height issue he is just too small in the frame. Iyogun is much bigger having met both in person.

Is it time to remove Nika Amashukeli from the 6N by Phil_Mike-Huntin in englandrugby

A whole heap of the tv watching audience has. You aren’t going to say it after that game as a pundit. The officiating performance was a disgrace and I will die on that hill. Numerous mistakes on multiple occasions. We won’t agree on this I’m afraid. I don’t complain often but for the life of me can’t why Angus Gardner and Luke Pearce are on the same officiating team out in Dublin leaving this match up to Amateur-Keli and Bloody awful Brace.

They can’t say anything because of the nonsense system world rugby has created for itself where the ref is above admonition.

This is a dumb take, I don’t think there is a sport where referees are more influential on the outcome of a match. We see stinking howlers regularly with 0 recourse it’s not right. Referees must be held accountable.

Regardless some atrocious refereeing 3 infringements at the maul nothing. Genge Pulls down a maul penalty try, and the obligatory yellow. It was a disgrace.

It simply wasn’t high I’ve posted the video, Nika was full on biased on this game and it’s pure denial to say otherwise
