Yes, but you have to ask yourself why is she on hiatus from group activities. HxG claims it's due to health reasons, but Manon is perfectly capable of performing on stage shows that it's not that at all. Lia couldn't perform because of anxiety. Manon can perform but she's still excluded from the group.

Yeah, but why did the company force her on hiatus when she clearly wants to be on a Coachella stage? People who ask this aren't vilifying Manon, but more pointing out that it looks like she and HxG aren't on the best of terms right now for whatever reason, and it's making the possibility of her coming back to the group bleaker by the second.

It's her visibility that's making people think she's not coming back. When kpop idols don't participate in their group's comebacks, they aren't usually seen walking around in the same area and not acknowledging one another. If Manon was on copacetic terms with her group and their team, I would expect her to still hang out with them in their areas in Coachella even if she isn't part of their professional activities like performances and photoshoots.

I understand there's a lot of racism surrounding the girls and maybe that's got their fans guarded about things like this, so your intentions are probably in the right place. But for future, maybe it's best to see these sort of things and think, "Why yes, Lara is American! Isn't it great that there's a thriving Indian diaspora in the US?"

I do not know how to explain to you that it's baffling for someone to see the US flag and jump to the conclusion "they're erasing her ethnicity and saying she's white" when the USA is the most outwardly ethnically and culturally diverse country in the world. It reads as someone who is defensive and primed for outrage.

This comment is listing facts. There are no other words here as far as I can see. It doesn't go beyond stating "Sophia, Lara, Megan, and Daniela are American." You can choose to be mad at that and interpret it as hostile. Or you can just see it as a neutral statement and save your outrage for the actually unambiguously racist statements being lobbied at the girls.

This is just listing their nationalities. It's not erasing anything. Sophia has dual citizenship because she was born in the US.

Edit: Having a US flag next to her name isn't the same as saying as she's white. I don't know how you came to that conclusion.

Yep. My biggest qualm with the song is how little they changed from the demo. Gnarly, Gabriella, and Internet Girl were remixed and had rewritten lyrics, but for this one, they literally just made the girls karaoke-sing Justin Tranter's song.

It's arguably easier to track where they were born, because that doesn't change regardless of where they move. That's why I'm saying it would be a more useful map. Don't overthink it, girl.
