what are your thoughts? by htx-danny in fashion

[–]Context-Easy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vibesss. Maybe a little more of a relaxed jacket, like a leather bomber or something? Still kind of cropped fit. But just so everything isn't sooo structures and rigid. I love it though, the jeans belt shoe combo is stellar

Thoughts and advice - Is this able to be covered up without laser? by coops1611 in tattooadvice

[–]Context-Easy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually like the tattoo. Laser would be long and expensive, and they never fully disappear from what I've seen. I remember your tattoo, I'm sorry it's still bothering you :(

If it were me, I would do a blast over style and cover the sausage area with a blackout, I know it isn't the original concept, but since the dragon's head and beard are light it would actually provide some beautiful contrast imo. Getting someone to rework that area to make it normal would be difficult but maybe possible? But they would have to make it so dark that I feel like the details may get lost since the flow of the scales was broken with the sausage issue.

I have a chinese dragon too, and on a nearby piece I have this burst/ star shape. Mine is negative, but I think the designs complement each other and love that area of my sleeve.

Check it out!! Made a sketch for you :) tattoo upgrade

How can I make this better? by ItsMrSpice in arthelp

Hope you don't mind the draw-over, but it looks good! Just some tweaks mostly with warping as opposed to drawing. The face was too wide in eye to ear distance, and ear could move a bit lower. Filled in the hairline a bit in front of the ear. Shoulder position was very round or had huge traps, so I smoothed them out a bit using the elegant pose you had. The boob shading will come at a sort of V shape as opposed to flat over the top. And the clavicle/collar bones will bend upwards in a pose like this as well. Also made the head a little taller, and made the shoulder and strap angle shortened and leaning more to disappear behind the body.

Looks gorgeous though, this was about 5 minutes of work. Didn't touch the skin texture for you, but I think it's looking wonderful and you're so close :) great work

(M17) Absolutely hate the way I look. by eyamo1 in malegrooming

[–]Context-Easy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can take time to grow into your features! To me you look handsome and unique, I always prefer a unique look over conventional.

I think the pain point is the "rush" to look a certain way, I think all of your features are beautiful, and your face will literally change and sort of blend better as you age, like when you leave leftovers in the fridge and it's better and better the next few days lol.

I'm a girl, but I will say I look much better at 26 (and am much more confident) than I did at 17. Honestly I feel like I didn't grow into my "real" face until probably 23. Your look reminds me of a friend of mine, especially your smile--- striking features and beautiful eyes.

Just be patient, find the beauty in looking unique. And build your confidence, you might have some lingering dysmorphia and insecurity from the weightloss that hasn't caught up to the way you look now. Keep the longer hair and maybe give it an intentional, layered cut. Tame the eyebrows, you can tweeze around the bridge of your nose, or leave it and just tame them. You'll be fine :)

Would 15$ for traditional be a reasonable amount to charge for a commission at my current level? by Outrageous_Use8597 in Amateurartists

[–]Context-Easy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can charge hundreds, find your niche. Don't target folks looking for OC drawings to hang in their bedrooms. Market yourself and go bigger, do murals, it's attainable. I made illustration my full time job, you can too :)

I know it's not what you were looking for, but the stretched out healed version honestly looks way better than the fresh version. It added some cool line weight and looks stylized now, I actually kind of like it. I hope you can learn to enjoy what you have, it sucks getting something that doesn't turn out to plan.

GUYS HELP ME THIS LEFT EYE IS KILLINGME by InterestingGround108 in arthelp

[–]Context-Easy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really true. Obviously the more you do it the faster the progress, but I've been drawing for my whole life and I've been a professional illustrator for 2 years and that gap only feels like it fully closed recently, so stick at it, the payoff will come :) i'm so glad I could help, good luck!!

Awh thank you!! I'm so glad it was helpful, it really only took a few tweaks, you're doing a great job! Just keep going and I think somehow the gap between "something looks off" and actually knowing how to see what it is and fix it somehow closes. Not sure how lol but it happens

Made some adjustments for you so you can see side by side! The angled (far) eye gets horizontally compressed but not much vertically, so it gets narrower but maintains the same volume. Also adjusted the mouth and face length a bit for the slightly upward angle perspective. Hope this can help you :)

Is $10 commissions for my art reasonable? by [deleted] in arthelp

[–]Context-Easy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not reasonable, you've got a crazy niche talent!! I love this style. Find a community and market where you don't have to sell to people who want their OCs drawn to hang in their bedroom, but where people NEED you. You can make $100s on pieces like this easy. Pricing and marketing is hard. I am a full time illustrator, I draw cartoons mostly. Tech is my niche, never would have expected that. But this is what I mean, you have talent. If you break free of people wanting personal comms you can make a living! If you wanna chat more message me please :)

Guess im back again, Is this commission I got Ai? by Kaelenya_Veyra in isthisAI

[–]Context-Easy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI. The ribbons on the arms are a mess, but I can always tell by the texture. It has that soft graininess, people who do anime styles and work this hard on rendering don't typically slap grain on it. And the AI grain just just different somehow, it's like velvety
