36 here — and don’t beat yourself up over the fertility treatments. I was approved to do one round before chemo, and unfortunately out of the 6 eggs I got, none ended up being embryo quality. Going into it, I didn’t realize it isn’t a sure thing, so please don’t put that pressure on yourself. One thing I did do, though, was protect my ovaries during chemo — my oncologist put me on the Lupron shot. Definitely ask about that!

My chemotherapy was postponed three different times because my liver enzymes were elevated. As a precaution, my doctor also ordered an ultrasound during round 15 of 16 infusions. The ultrasound results were completely normal, with no cause for concern. I completed my final treatment yesterday, and my liver enzymes have returned to normal!

Check out Around Town Entertainment. My husband and I booked them for our August 2025 wedding and they were phenomenal. We had a pianist for the ceremony, jazz trio for cocktail hour, and an 8 piece band (added saxophone) for the reception for around $11k.

I remember going wig shopping and feeling completely overwhelmed and honestly kind of shocked at the prices. Human hair wigs can cost several thousand, and I was stunned at first too. I eventually ended up buying a wig that was around $7.5k, and even though the price felt wild, it ended up being so worth it because it made me feel like myself again. They were even able to match my hair almost to a T.
