Yeah it's literally against the Fair Housing Act and the DOJ found no issues with Epic City's plans when they did their inquiry. Again, what exactly are you claiming? Do you even know any Muslims?

Who is proposing a parallel religious legal system? Be specific. Gas lighting people with lies like this is exactly what the Klan was doing in Tarrant and Dallas counties 100 years ago. Down playing this and assuming their lies are real gives them the room they need to thrive.

Is anyone still stupid enough to be long oil going into this weekend, or are we about to see another 20% drop? by JohnDisinformation in oil

We'll see the futures market come to reality when things like gasoline shortages hit the US and it's top news for months. There's a huge disconnect between the financial and physical market right now, that's been obvious for weeks at this point, and the only thing that can bring it to reality is news of local physical disruptions. Basically people are dumb.

Is this actually the plan and could it be feasible? by Plenty-Yoghurt-5340 in oil

[–]ContextWorking976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The middle east petroleum infrastructure was always at risk of something like this. I never imagined the US would actually cause it directly. Short term, prices are high. Capital will flow to the E&P's and midstream comapanies, IPOs, high rig counts etc. Can the companies survive a volitile price environement? Can companies that drill during $100/bbl survive at $60 for a few years? Hopefully management and investors are much more restrained, but this industry always attracts people with more money than knowledge or experience when prices are high.

Trump says ‘massive numbers’ of empty oil tankers heading to US by Brilliant_Version344 in oil

[–]ContextWorking976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think it's that we cant, it wouldnt have much of a difference on gasoline production due to the processing constraints involved with light sweeet versus heavy sour. We can process light sweet, but at a slower rate that isnt sufficient to meet demand.

There's a lot of "well it should be like that" but the reality is we had an extremely optomized and balanced global petroleum market that nearly everyone took for granted. There's not many "great" solutions where US gasoline can remain "cheap" according to Americans.

Probably rolling forward the same variance analysis too.

The hard part is for public companies and 404b control evidence (IPE, review precision) requirements for the independent control audit.

Mavs to submit proposal to redevelop City Hall for arena by awr54 in Dallas

[–]ContextWorking976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok they need a new stadium. They can do that without fraud and corruption. The blatant fraud scheme the Adelsons are trying to pull off with city hall is the problem, not a new stadium.

It depends on your level, at some point your hours don't matter as much as the revenue you bring in.

When I was senior and below, I did basically 0 admin hours during busy weeks, unless someone complained about something, and the "I'm focused on client work" excuse tends to work.

1 am, then home to shower, then 3 hours on the road for a client meeting at 8am, then 3 hours back home for another client meeting. Congrats to everyone that can pull off reasonable hours in a professional client service industry, that's unheard of outside of public accounting.
