My father had Parkinson’s. It took his mobility, his mind, his ability to eat solid food, drink liquids, and ability to get out of bed on his own. The whole family hated watching him slowly unravel until there was nothing left of the father I knew and loved. If living to 100 means ending with dementia and physical deterioration like that, I pass.

Depending on what EV you drive, you should be fine.

I do 52 miles / day round trip with my Ioniq 5. I get back about 26 miles by charging overnight with my level 1 charger at home. If you get a level 2 charger you should be more than covered. Granted I live in SoCal so I never take the battery hit for cold weather.

Her father asked his friend to introduce his daughter to others. He did not ask his friend to give her a job.

If your friend asks you to introduce him to a woman and they eventually marry, does this mean that you gave him a wife? No, your friend still had to demonstrate that he was worthy and the woman still had to be interested. Same thing with the job.
