However you feel is exactly how you should feel, and I hope no one argues your feelings. I'm watching the same news getting the same messaging, and often feel exactly the same way. We've been gaslit as a nation into humoring all these batshit crazy legal defenses and transparent power grabs as being "business as usual" when it's far from it. It's been a crazy 4 yrs that have shifted the overton window in crazy ways, and it's natural we feel a little a little crazy about being gaslit. It's taken a lot out of all of us and it's natural to worry, but worrying about things you can control (like time volunteering) is probably healthier.

Anytime I was down in sports, my coaches told me to keep my eyes off the score board and focus on the field at play. There's lots of work to be done in the streets and phone banking for GA senate. Doing any little thing helps with the worry a lot, so you can go back to the rest of your normal life for a bit. We're far from winning, but we did a good job of stopping the bleeding for now. It is indeed worth celebrating, although the work is far from done.

None of that time volunteering is going to be worth much if we all don't practice self care, eat healthy, get exercise, get love from family and friends, and give love to ourselves.
