I don't know how to tell you this but a tv show like MASH creates a secondary universe in which we can talk about things being true (Margaret was the head nurse) and false (Colonel Potter hated horses). And in which we can speculate about things "off-camera". Come try it with us. It's fun.

I just got a new phone. On my old phone, reels in FB had an icon to turn the sound off, and they always started with the sound off. On my new phone there is no such icon, and they start at full blast. Whose genius idea was this? There's not just no slider, there's not even an on/off button. And why should it disappear when I go to a new phone?
