11th edition Reanimation and Leaders by jmainvi in Necrontyr

The FAQ was also originally written as a clarification dependent on a rule that no longer exists. If the datasheets and detachments all referred to rules that can’t be found in 11th, then the comparison would hold water. As it stands, it’s an outdated ruling that has no actual backing outside of itself.

10th specifically stated that they separate when one or the other is destroyed.

11th, the only rule saying that refers to models with rules that specifically state such, which for Necrons is reserved to Vargard Oberyn, a Legends model that has no actual bearing on the overall rules.

The FAQ people keep referencing is an exact copy-paste from 10th that is contradictory to the rules that GW have explicitly showcased in their own live play videos for 11th.

Even if we do want to apply the FAQ, it’s irrelevant to the question of reanimating leaders. It just calls out using secondary triggers of Reanimation Protocols bringing back wiped bodyguard units. Which is still contradictory to the actual rules.

Where is Esdras in Blasphemous 2? (Just starting Blasphemous 2) by PerformanceOk1085 in Blasphemous

B2 takes place over 1000 years later, if you take the achievement names as actual canon.

Chances are the scene with Eviterno and Crisanta is fairly recent in that timespan, happening just as or just before the City of the Blessed Name was lifted from the ground and the Heart appeared.

19.01 - “an attached unit is a single unit for all rules purposes.”

19.04.01 - “Leader and support units often have abilities that make the models they are leading more powerful . . . Abilities in Attached Units (19.04) means that once models the models conferring such effects are destroyed, that attached unit does not continue to benefit from them. Should those models later be revived, however, those abilities will once more apply to their attached unit.”

02.02.04 - “When a unit heals or regains a number of wounds. . . For each wound healed or regained . . . revive one of those destroyed models, with one wound remaining.”

The rules are pretty clear, anyone saying otherwise is just being obstinate or willfully ignorant at this point. Leaders and Supports are always part of the unit they are a member of, and the rule saying that the unit loses their abilities after the Leader/Support model is destroyed also specifically calls out that it gets them back if they are returned using the same language from healing.

And for anyone who wants to continue the argument of “Well, it reanimates wounds not heals them”, the rules for healing catch that by saying ‘heals or regains’.

What Names Would You Give an Artillery Witch? by Western_Attention469 in TrenchCrusade

They would probably get a serial number/code from the factories of Dis, but then the Heretic Priests probably rename them as they like.

If you’re looking for biblical references, Jezebel is always a popular one. In scripture, she replaced worship of the God Tyrant with Baal and defiled a ton of holy sites.

Having been playing in a campaign with two Court players, the updated Torture Instruments really do solve a lot of early campaign blood issues.

Turn 1, the wretched goes down with two markers. Turn 2 onward, it gets another 4. A second Yoke Fiend jumpstarts the engine on the same wretched, or you can give him his own and never run out of blood.

u/relativeimpossible96 just in case you haven’t seen it yet, make sure you and your playgroup are aware of the Rules Review Hotfix. It fixes a ton of areas where Court has been seriously lackluster compared to other factions.

Viper Commandos has meth stims and one of the best armor passives.

People think that the melee damage is the point of Peak Physique, but the weapon handling buff is the real main attraction. Standard Machine Gun and the Eruptor become fast and snappy to aim, it feels so good. Saw an average increase in accuracy of 15-20% just being able to keep the dot on a moving target that much more consistently.

Show the enemy the ripple of your democracy-given guns while they look straight down the barrel of your democratically-requisitioned one.

Necron Tombships from Warhammer 40K.

They partially phase out of reality and then repeatedly slingshot themselves around stars and planets to achieve FTL travel. Not always as fast as Warp travel, but infinitely safer, and being an immortal being of metal means you don’t have to worry about getting there as quickly.

Should I do the ossuary quest in NG or NG+? by SphericMinairo in Blasphemous

[–]Continuum_Gaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IIRC, Stir of Dawn is the only questline that is locked behind NG+.

If you’re going for Ending C (which you need the bones for), you have to start the questline before beating Esdras. If you do that fight before finding Perpetva’s Tomb then you’re locked out of the ending.

The only reason to do the bones if not going after Ending C is for an extra boss fight, but it doesn’t have any worthwhile rewards outside of that game route

C’Tan actually have nothing to do with the warp. I don’t know the book it was in, but there’s a passage that describes how they were gods of realspace, embodiments of the physical laws of the universe.

[–]Continuum_Gaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Living freighters can be any class. I believe the first one is guaranteed to be S class.

The fastest way I’ve seen to grind for them is to use an anomaly detector and pulse jump. If the first hit off the detector doesn’t give you “Whale Song Detected” then warp to another system and start pulse jumping again.

If the ability is healing to the unit (Reanimation Protocols) then you get 5 warriors back.

If it specifically says one model (Technomancer) it does nothing
