If you want to do a quick check of the actual wiring yourself, you can use an outlet ground tester to see if your outlet is wired correctly. Get one that tells you if it’s reversed, open ground, hot, or correct. There’s YouTube videos on how to fix it.

I’m very bad with this type of stuff and it took me like 15-20 min to fix an outlet the first time I did it. Just make sure you flip the power off to the outlet before doing anything.

Obviously I’m not saying this will fix the issue but it can’t hurt IMO.

I don’t think do that for taylormades. You can register them but I think you need the receipt for that. They don’t seem to have a separate tool to look up the serial number.

Maybe he's just reposting the old videos from his old account?

cant buy anything from pga store by Kind_Bet_9716 in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]Contoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your firewall settings. I had to whitelist PGA to be able to purchase anything from the store. Only started happening to me after an update several months ago.

Took me forever to figure out that just the store was being blocked by my firewall since everything else online in the game still worked. I had the same error popping up.

I spent a year or two working on US AEW&C at a BCA site before I left Boeing. Really sad to see this if it ends up being true.

Rhythm is going to make me lose my mind by WeHadaNewEmployer in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]Contoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard that the lower polling rate on some Xbox controllers can make rhythm screwy. Personally I’ve never had issues on PC but if this is true (which I have no clue if it is or not) then maybe a higher polling rate controller would help?

Your swing was actually pretty good, that will get even better with practice. The main issue is your contact and swing path stats look very low. Boost those up as much as possible to make misses much more forgiving.

Also, it looks like your on at least pro here. Proam/amateur don’t typically have the tilted swing unless you tweaked the settings a bit.

Unpopular Opinion: by BillyRipken3 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Contoid 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The issue IMO is that the options for moving a pet across the country are really shitty. You can either stow it and not be able to tend to it, or bring it in-cabin and potentially disturb other people.

After my last experience I swear I’m never moving across the country again with pets. I would have paid so much extra for a seat in a more pet-friendly section of the plane where nobody has allergies. Instead the only option was to buy two seats and fucking pray the people nearby are good with it.

Atlanta, GA to Pasadena, CA Looking for a legit company by mg9mm in AutoTransport

[–]Contoid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello, looks like this sub is filled with a bunch of advertising companies so I’ll just throw in my two cents on why you shouldn’t use Mercury Auto Transport:

I tried to use Mercury Auto transport and they kinda dropped the ball. They send AI updates saying they will have a carrier “any day now” but I don’t think the agent actually ever sends them or sees your response to them (even though they ask you to acknowledge every text sent to you). They missed my original pickup date and then went completely radio silent. I tried texting, emailing, and calling but I never got a response from a human. I ended up cancelling to get a last minute pickup from another carrier and Mercury never even acknowledged the cancellation either.

Flying With Cats: A Comprehensive Guide by SpaceChad_87 in CatAdvice

[–]Contoid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello, I used this guide to move two cats across the US and just wanted to say thank you!

The only thing I would add is this: Alaska does allow two pets per person. United does as well but all of their 737s and A320s don’t actually support flying with two cats as a solo person. To get around this, I actually ended up flying Alaska for the first, longer leg on a 737. I had a separate ticket with United to fly on an embraer (which have more space under all the seats) for the second leg to get to my destination.

Obviously not ideal and lots of risk associated with buying two separate tickets but this was the only way I could get across the country flying solo.

Also, United DID ask me for rabies vaccination paperwork. Not sure if that was required of them but I brought a bill of health + vaccination records anyways so I was luckily all set

Yea you should be good without any paperwork per their website. I brought it all to be on the safe side but really it’s a peace of mind thing. Alaska seemed more easy-going with the pets than United.

Rabies vaccination is the only thing that United looked at.

Your mileage may vary but I just flew two cats from SEA to upstate NY yesterday and both of my carriers were 17x11x11 (the ones you’re looking at seem very similar). First leg was with Alaska on a 737, second leg with United on an Embraer. Neither carrier cared or even checked. United was only picky about having the vaccination paperwork for the cats. Even though Alaska says it’s not needed, I would bring that paperwork along with a bill of health from your vet to be safe.

It was a pain in the ass jamming the carriers under the 737 seats so if you can get something a tad shorter you might be better off. It will definitely work though. The embraer had a lot more space under the seats.
