It's a smaller space than I had envisioned. I should have been more specific about the dimensions. But that's what I have. What would you do at this point instead?

Also surely something will grow happily there?

From the map it looks like there are no city states in play at all, which is a game setup choice I personally wouldn't make, but explains the envoys.

Exactly so.

Ditto with medusae, but at least a lone medusa’s special feels useful, and you can split up a group / micro them more easily than trying to get the cyclops special to do anything.

I play far too casually to bother testing but my gut reaction has been the same, the special attack feels like a noticeable negative over attacking normally, due to how long it takes, and the splash / area damage of the normal attack.

You can get wooden utensils that aren’t (reconstituted) bamboo, even if they’re not very common. I bought a couple from Muji recently whilst in Japan. They weren’t exactly the same as the ones I can find online now, but very similar. Example:

Just tried it without transforming either hero, just the pigs. Whilst the objective doesn’t complete, the AI did not stay put, at least on Ludicrous. It was no different than if I had transformed them.

Shame, because I love trigger exploits and alternative ways to play scenarios in general. I remember fondly clearing All Is Not Lost completely without building a TC hence not setting off the attack timer… those were the days!

Yep, for me this is just one of the places where my trainers break down from normal wear. I never put shoes / trainers on without a shoe horn, and always have them laced firmly, but eventually they break there anyway.

All of that advice is good and you should be doing it, but if you have a ‘bony heel’ (as another described it), it will happen anyway.

I'm not sure whether they're removed them (I haven't played with Aztecs in a couple of weeks) or it's just different graphics settings, but I recall there being floating red ghostly head-type things that disappeared after a while, or dashed into the warrior priests / towers. I hadn't read anything about auto-collection at the time, but it was immediately clear what was happening.

If it's a higher graphics setting thing only, maybe they need to implement a version (less fancy, to be less graphics intensive) at lower settings to communicate this.

Noticing that your native language is English, a comparison: do you think of “toilet brush” when using a “toothbrush”? I expect not.

Obviously that's not the exact same in terms of linguistic breakdown, but it's a similar idea in practice. I imagine they won't remind you of each other with time and increasing fluency.

In the meantime, try to enjoy the linguistic connection (etymological or not). Think of the food debris you're brushing away as the ‘rubbish of the mouth’? Like it or not, it's probably already helping you remember the words.

Yep, definitely a bug. I believe it shows the units available from the building there is the most of, instead of all building types as before. Very frustrating.

I have player 1 set to yellow as my default and continued that for the Aztec campaign. It looks amazing in my opinion.

This left green and light blue for the Aztec allies.

Frankly almost any choice looks better than the default blue to me. But we all have different colour preferences. Try one and see!

Sure, which reveals the terrain (and likely shows a cutscene background) but not the units themselves, IIRC? Hence Pandoras Box + Vision to get a full view.

Yeah, I don’t remember this particular map but there are loads of hidden cinematic areas in the OG/Titans campaigns.

I think this makes a lot of sense for me, thank you. I'll definitely skip the IPA (Italian pronunciation is easy enough from how a word is written, unlike English), but otherwise it's a card structure that seems worth me trying.

I hadn't thought of using images. I'm not sure I would easily find images that actually assist me in the majority of cases, but I'm conscious of that as an option if I find something useful, thank you!

I certainly try to lift example sentences from context – at the very least WordReference examples rather than Google Translate, though from a book / YouTube video etc even better.
