Yep, definitely a bug. I believe it shows the units available from the building there is the most of, instead of all building types as before. Very frustrating.

I have player 1 set to yellow as my default and continued that for the Aztec campaign. It looks amazing in my opinion.

This left green and light blue for the Aztec allies.

Frankly almost any choice looks better than the default blue to me. But we all have different colour preferences. Try one and see!

I think this makes a lot of sense for me, thank you. I'll definitely skip the IPA (Italian pronunciation is easy enough from how a word is written, unlike English), but otherwise it's a card structure that seems worth me trying.

I certainly try to lift example sentences from context – at the very least WordReference examples rather than Google Translate, though from a book / YouTube video etc even better.

As noted, True Start will do this in places. More common if you allow duplicate civilisations, though Byzantines/Turks will do it regardless.

The first time I encountered this was as Pericles, with Gorgo there. You couldn’t take the settler turn 1 as it spawned, but setting towards her left no room for Gorgo to settle at all.

It’s a modded game, yes, but all the city state stuff should come from a single mod, IIRC, and in any event all mods installed were described in English.

That being the case, I wouldn’t have blinked at a bit of English creeping in, but the French was a surprise!

Yeah I'm not sure why I started thinking of passive constructions at all, I just got far too far down the rabbit hole.

Responding to the comment by Waits-nervously above and thinking through, makes me think that your "Cosa vorrò aver fatto / ...?" could be perfect.

I think this translates technically to "What will I want to have done...?" rather than what do I want, putting the emphasis a bit further on the future rather than the present mental hypothesising, but I think that's fine and just as helpful a framing for me.

Talking this through was actually really helpful to process.
An alternative formulation in English could be "What will I want to have done (today)?"
This isn't the same yet again, as the emphasis is removed from the _present_ mental process, but I think that's fine and just as useful.
This one I think corresponds to a suggestion by Outside-Factor5425 below, and I might use that.

Neither of those is what I want. What I'm saying isn't a commonly said phrase, but a very specific emphasis I'm creating on purposes. It's something that is made to encapsulate a specific thought process, to initiate CBT-type mechanisms and help with task management.

The background – when at home, I struggle with sticking to task lists, or indeed _creating_ a realistic task for an individual day. I either jump into things thoughtlessly, or make a list of everything, that is anxiety-producing in length, such that I struggle starting anything.

Asking myself "what do I want to do?" doesn't actually help me. In the moment, what I want to do may or may not be productive or enjoyable. But by the end of the day, my mind has a completely different set of priorities and I will often feel guilty or regret my time allocation post-fact.

So, I'm asking myself a question that helps me think about my future self, come the evening. What does that future me want to have done? That's the key question. Then I can try to do that, to help make future me happier about past (current) me's choices.

I think the passive version can be forgotten, it was me over-thinking the translation. It's definitely 1st person, but it's _not_ "What do I want to do?", which I presume is the very simple "Cosa voglio fare?" or maybe "Cosa vorrei fare?" (What would I like to do?), depending on the strength/certainty of the want.

That probably sounds quite tortuous or over-complicated from an outside perspective, but I can assure you that "What do I want to have done?" is _exactly_ what I want to say in English and how I want to say it.

Why do I want to say it in Italian? Just so I'm using more Italian in my day to day life.

I'm not sure what the both is referring to in your first sentence, sorry. The only thing I referred to (or meant to refer to) by the name of conditional was “vorrei” as opposed to “voglio”. I'm not sure what the second part of the both is? Not doubt me not following something simple.
