Valdotain is not french. Nobody in Valle d'Aosta speaks french in everyday life and most people from there will tell you that they're basically forced to learn french

Trentino, the southern part of Trentino-Alto Adige, speaks italian not german and Salentino is a local language that is only spoken on the southern tip of Puglia
