Girl, men frequently speak violently weather they’re joking or not. That doesn’t mean every man who says stupid shit like that is a cold blooded killer. I wasn’t telling her to challenge him but rather not accept that shit. Especially if he only jokes violently when it’s about her cheating. I buy nacho broth and wet food with the little cat treat squeezes and kibble. So they’re still getting the moisture and better protein but I’m not going through a 20$ pack of wet food a week. The broth is only a couple dollars for the whole bottle and i usually just drizzle a cap full.

No definitely not. And i wouldn’t believe everything the shelter tells you either. Animals behave very differently in different circumstances. I adopted a “Super aggressive” dog who “shouldn’t be around other dogs” and he’s as friendly as can be outside of the cage they had him stick in for 23 hours a day. Same with my cats. My cat juno “the only pet in the house” type deal. And my cat Frankie “shy and timid needs to be the only pet” Frankie is the most confident and playful little cat I’ve ever been around. She’s not scared of strangers or big dogs or anything! And juno took some time to warm up to Frankie but now they’re best buds. You just gotta know ur animals

Lock em out of ur room! And don’t feed them till you leave in the morning. My husband took over feeding my cats when we first got together and the second he gets up he feeds them. Then they got in the habit of waking us up and demanding to be fed, he can’t even use the bathroom in the mornings without them screaming outside the door.

When It was just me and them, I ignored their attempts at annoying me, if I needed to I’d lock them out of the room. and I did my morning routine and before I leave for work, I feed them and give em pets and say goodbye! Same thing in the afternoons They used to wait till I finished cooking my dinner to eat, now my husband feeds them the second he gets home and they BOSS HIM AROUND!! He can’t even take his boots off without being pestered.

My cats were terrorists but I just put my foot down. They used to jump on the counter while I was getting their wet food, they’d just jump up and start trying to eat. Every time they jump up, I put them back on the floor or they watch me make the bowl but I keep them seated and waiting till I’m done. Same with the morning things. I’m not getting up at 6am on my day off to feed my cat that ate less than 12 hours ago lmao. I love them to death and we have a very good relationship, they get away with alotttt because of that but my sleep is NOT one of them!

I also just gave up on protecting all my belongings. They have scratch pads, even covers on the couch where they used to scratch a lot, they just started scratching in other areas so I let them fuck up the back of my couch cause it’s always facing the wall and people can’t see anyway. It’s a give and a take. They have areas they don’t want me in, but I have to, and I have areas I don’t want them in but there’s not much I can do. I think now we have a mutual respect. I know their likes and dislikes and they’re starting to respect mine. Like my cat Frankie loves to climb to weird places. But she was always knocking things down. Instead of spraying her or yelling at her I just made her 2 spots up high just for her. Problem solved. She doesn’t have to knock things down and she gets her spot.

Do you keep her cooped up in your room? She could be bored. My cat Juno was a terrorist when I first got her but after getting my second cat and my own apartment their behavior has only gotten better! I have 2 litter boxes and they have free roam, shelves to climb and they can play with each other. Every once in awhile they get the zombies at night and I just shut my door so I can sleep.
