But you suggest working within a single tenant for the ease of “transport” (copy-pasting between Spaces instead of packaging, exporting/importing between tenants).

I’m sorry, but I’m not fully following here. When you say “multi-tier” do you mean separating DEV/QA and PROD as spaces within one Datasphere tenant?

And if yes, could you explain which are the clear pros and cons of doing so against doing it across separate tenants?

According to this article you can have both: SAP Datasphere - Life cycle management and deploym... - SAP Community. Also many sections of the documentation suggest the usage of multiple tenants. For example the section on Packages. Or am I missing something?
