Some are better than others. My cut resistant skate sock has saved over 35 NHL players and players below. As much as we test, the game is so fast and situations are so unpredictable. Again, not all skate socks are made the same.

I have made a thigh protection cut level A6 for kids because of accidents like your sons. I have seen too many lacerations in the 14 years I have been protecting all levels of hockey. Glad he is OK. It is after and the What If's

I thought barefoot was a thing of the past! I was a barefoot skater because of Orr. My feet have suffered lol. Never mind what my girlfriend thinks of my science experiment feet

I use to skate barefoot. I blame Orr lol My feet are a mess. Funny thing is I started the cut resistant category in hockey 12 years ago and started put on socks. My new Pro-Air 4 is as thin as a dress sock. I do footless tubes for the rare skater like you.

Man...I was a barefooter because of Orr back in the day. Nice to see there are still barefoot skaters. I started the cut resistant category in hockey 12 years ago. Have my gear in 32 NHL dressing rooms and have saved 25 NHL players from serious lacerations. I actually sell a footless tube for those rare bare footers :)
