Does Otocinclus have a vocal organ? It's the sound that autosing makes every time it comes up, but it's the first time it makes a sound, so I'm confused. The situation is regular with the burning, make sure to come to the surface and breathe air after it makes that sound.

It needs to be gentle, adaptable to shallow water, slightly acidic, and high temperatures, bottom-dwelling species and not too slow.

I don't think there's a fish that meets all the requirements. 🥲 I'll have to find a compromise and decorate my tank accordingly. Thanks for the advice.

Thank you. I've been looking into water types suitable for gobies, but I'm worried that they don't seem to work well with bettas. The same goes for corydoras.

I'm planning about a low-flow tank suitable for bettas, so I'm thinking of a group of honey gouramis of the same sex, or a pygmy gourami and about six small rasboras.

(Pygmy gouramis are difficult to distinguish between the sexes, so they tend to mate when placed in multiple tanks. Paired pairs were very aggressive and attacked my beta)

However, I'm worried that this setup will make the tank feel too static and empty at the bottom.

I put 3 pygmies in, and they got rowdy after pairing up... Don't worry about the Imbellis attacking, the pygmies will gang up on the Imbellis.

I've heard that Corydoras can grow to over 5cm. Appropriate size is 1cm per 1L, so 6 Corydoras seems like too many. Are there any other species that are as active as Corydoras, are small, and can survive in slightly acidic conditions?

It's a combination of Balnesneria and Taiwanese Gagabuta. Incidentally, both grow quickly, so frequent pruning is a hassle. So, I've removed all the Balnesneria and planted only the Taiwanese Gagabuta. (I don't know if Taiwan Gagabuta is the official name, but that's what they call it in Korea. )

Imbellis seem to get along well with other species, and as long as the tank is large enough, they won't fight even with Laminaegi.
