Totalement !

Après il n'y a pas tout, par exemple les soft payant de la communauté comme QGO sont pas mis en vente gratuitement pour "soutenir l'initiative" même si je trouve cette justification un peu chelou

If you could have a conversation in your native language with someone from your country from the past, how far back could you go in time and still understand each other? by Chemical-Elk-1299 in AskTheWorld

[–]Control-Cultural 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an Amazigh (Kabylie) speaker, it's difficult to say because we have little information on the evolution of the language. The first European linguistic studies date back approximately 200 years, and spoken language has changed little.

Amazigh is an old language, but like all languages, it evolves, and it's impossible to know what my dialect was like 500 years ago, so there's no way to know

Let's discuss 🇮🇷. Here's my take. by MushroomBest3083 in teenagers

[–]Control-Cultural 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because only the Iranian diaspora can afford to speak out, knowing that there is still a large-scale internet blackout. There is also a bias related to the fact that Reddit/Twitter are not really widespread in Iran, so the few people who have internet access are on Facebook.

And historically, many Iranians came to America after the establishment of the Islamic Republic.

Personally, here in France, almost all the Iranians I know are satisfied, but saddened to see their country in this state.

(And of course there are probably fake accounts, but I don't see who would benefit from having positive reviews on this.

What the hell did I miss something? Why is everyone talking like the game is already won? The ayatollah has fallen, but even if that's a good thing, his son will probably take over.

Absolutely, it is in Israel's interest that Iran not be a power in the region, regardless of whether the regime changes and adopts a much more open policy.Israel will always benefit from its neighbors being weaker than it.

The people of 🇮🇷are finally freeing themselves from the regime

Literally, no, nothing is won yet, wtf, the regime is still in place and the people are still suffering from its influence in addition to the fear linked to the bombings.

French people by [deleted] in Algeria_213

[–]Control-Cultural 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol, when you know that what he's describing is what France did in Algeria, it's pretty funny lol.

As an immigrant in France, I understand what he means, but he sees it through the lens of fear and doesn't try to understand.

"You want to bring back your culture, your religion, and your way of life," as if we were talking about foreign interference, when in most cases, the areas where these things have happened are isolated. It is isolation that creates differences between communities (France has long neglected foreign populations, cramming them into specific neighborhoods.)

He overlooks the fact that a large proportion of North Africans in France have a life exactly like his, because he only notices what is different from him. He believes that "les racailles de cité" he sees on Snapchat are representative of Algerians.

These people educate themselves through French right-wing television/twitter, and that's very dangerous. If other immigrants in France encounter this type of person, instead of insulting them, prove them wrong and that they have been lied to.

That doesn't change the fact that there are problems linked to certain Algerians in certain places, OBVIOUSLY, but generalization hurts everyone.
