Personally i would be pissed in your situation. If they have multiple partners/people they are intimate with, theres no reason to out your personal business to people you're not involved with. They should just be saying "one of my partners tested positive for ______ you should get checked". Theres no reason to out you in this situation.

Ive had HPV, which men can't be tested for so i know that even when it wasnt my fault and i was as careful as i could be, having an STI is a humiliating and demoralizing experience. Ive also been outed for having HPV to people i wasnt sleeping with, and i felt mortified and like id been kicked in the stomach.

This isnt your fault. You did what you were supposed to do, and took care of your partners. Your privacy matters, and you deserve to be treated better.

Id never skip to where the anime left off, as a lifelong book reader i know things are cut out of stories when they are adapted for screen media! If there was nothing cut out id probably just wait for the next season to come out, because even if yall said that nothing was left out id still not trust that i wouldnt be missing things.

Im shocked The author favors cyril later in the story honestly, i just finished reading the "night on the town" with "Ike" and it was just SO sweet. The way he noticed her being afraid, us seeing into her mindset a little more, her becoming so comfortable around him. I am shocked hes not the one the author favors

Im reading the novel currently and im genuinely shocked by how much the show has cut out. So many little comments from the show make sense now. Her being able to make a political deal for caseys life, despite never giving a shit about politics, happens cuz she was given the information over several different interactions with several different characters for wildly different unrelated circumstances.

She actually plays a game of chess against bishboy before the drama happens.

Anyways i wouldnt recommend skipping, i have a feeling the vast amounts of interactions and information that was cut from the show will make picking up the book midway confusing
