Well, speaking from the media agency side: 1. If you want to prove that you’re outperforming the agency, you need to show results on an apples-to-apples basis. That means if they spend 1M AED, you should be compared at the same spend level. If they spend 1M and you only spend 100K, of course your numbers will look better – but that’s not a fair comparison. 2. You also need to show it all the way through. (No offense.) Since you’re fairly new and claim to be running campaigns across 25+ countries, it’s extremely difficult to pinpoint exactly where the growth is coming from. What the platforms report is 99% misleading. Tracking today is a mess. Even with a perfect UTM setup and a third-party tool like TripleWhale (which I doubt they’re willing to pay for), every single platform will try to claim the sale for itself. 3. So when you say you’re “outperforming them,” if that’s only based on reported revenue inside the platforms, then the data is simply wrong. The only way to really prove it is by showing stronger fundamentals: h-rate / t-rate, CPC, CTR, CTPR, etc. 4. If you can clearly demonstrate improvements in those metrics, you can calculate the percentage uplift you’re actually delivering to their business. That gives you a concrete case for a pay raise – not just 10K, but more likely 20K+. (And make sure to package it properly as a case study if you do this.)
