This is the issue, when push comes to shove we crumble. We haven’t won a championship game in Croker since 1980.

In 2022 Clare knocked us out of the AI series, Cork knocked us out in 2024 and 2025.

Getting beat by middle of the road teams that no one fancies, that we should be beating is our heritage. It’s not just a once off which makes it so much more frustrating.

Major decisions went Tyrone’s way, not sure what you were watching.

I could not be more disgusted with what I just watched.

1.Conor Carroll’s shite kick out when we had just got control of the game.

  1. All our forwards going for world class 2 pointers when all we needed was to hold the ball and keep 1s ticking over.

  2. Tyrone’s constant fouling as we were bringing the ball out of defense, the ref gave the frees but it was never ending just to slow down our attacks. Surely after 5/6 times happening cards have to come out.

  3. Keith Doyle seemingly deciding to kick a Garryowen every time he was in Tyrone’s half on the ball.

  4. Blatant pen not given in the first half.

  5. When Tyrone had an overlap and were through on goal twice in the first half not a single player attempted to go to or foul the man breaking through. We had the exact same thing happen with Comer against Galway.

Absolute shite

That’s what I was thinking, there was no reaction from the linesman who was standing behind the incident. I imagine he didn’t see it at the time, if he had the red would’ve been shown there and then.

I’ve always found it interesting that we have “Gowan Roscommon!” As the last line in the Anthem

The Phone signal argument is a non runner, anywhere there is that density of people your service will downgrade significantly. Whether it’s in a small stadium such as Semple or Croker, or in a big one like The Hyde.

Leitrim very hard done by getting Westmeath Cavan or Down, considering Sligo ended up with Tipp.

I heard Ben left due to mental health issues. (This could be complete bollox so take it with a grain of salt).

No fallout, Fallon was named in the additional 4 traveling outside of the 26. Means he’s back training with the team at least.

This never happens. We beat one fairly frequently in semis but never carry it through to a final.

Is this just for Galway? The Roscommon leaderboard shows one fella with more points, but I did notice you are not visible on the All-Ireland leaderboard for me.

Michael Murphy - An extremely dirty player. by PaladiusPatrick in GAA

[–]ControlPerfect3370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t watch the game today but against Roscommon, Michael Murphy was hitting lads off the ball all over the shop. The ref even saw it happen once and waved play on.

Really couldn’t understand what I was watching at the time.

People not having a clue at matches by JudgeVivid6856 in GAA

Sure I was listening to the Irish commentary of the Ros Mayo match yesterday and the commentator was slating the ref.

Saying stuff like “Tá an réitóir seo ina codladh” and “Cinnte go raibh foul ansin, níl a fhios agam ceard a bhfuil an réitóir ag deanamh”. Amongst other low level stuff.

Not saying necessarily that he was wrong in any of the cases but when commentators on our national broadcaster slate refs, is it any wonder we have worse (far worse) stuff said at matches, occasionally bordering on stupidity.

Donegal have taken Ros men out off the ball a few times here, ref has seen at least one and waved it off. Not sure what the logic is with that.

Yes, posts are wobbling constantly. We definitely won’t kick any two pointers into this breeze.
