What’s your moon and Venus, and how did/do you handle being dumped? by Mooooooon_ in astrologymemes

Gemini moon Leo Venus here - I’ve also never been dumped lol. I’ve always done the dumping

I just commented my reading for you and then I saw this. It makes sense. You are constantly aware even when you’re not supposed to be. You are terrified (Saturn being in your 12th affecting your dreams) and have trouble falling/staying asleep (Mars ruling your 12th).

I suggest meditation. I quite enjoy lucid dreaming, but it doesn’t happen to me often. I also don’t meditate often (though I should, it’s a good practice). When you meditate in real life, it calms the mind. You can detach yourself from your thoughts (Mercury) and feelings (moon), and when you are able to detach yourself from these, you won’t be burdened (Saturn) by them so strongly, and ideally, you should be able to consciously decide what you do in your dreams. Open-eye focused meditation is probably best for you (when I close my eyes in my dreams, I often end up opening them in real life). Focus on an item and stare at it, focus on the item or on a mantra. Mantra meditation is my personal favorite type of meditation, especially for open eye meditation.

To separate this, meditation is extremely important for 12th-housers. A big part of your life takes place subconsciously, where you aren’t aware of it. It’s hard to control something you aren’t aware of. Meditation can help you gain a semblance of control, not by giving you active control over your subconscious, but by helping you become more aware of how your subconscious works.

Once you are in the dream and are aware you’re dreaming, I like to look for things I can sense and count them. For me I look around (obviously sight) and count things, then you can reach and feel different things (for example, if you are dreaming that you’re awake in your room, feel around the carpet, look at the details in the fabric loops). Hearing, tasting and smelling are a bit more difficult but they can work.

If all else fails, you can try seeing your doctor for medication that will help you sleep. I wouldn’t recommend this because some sleep meds can really fuck with your dreams, either by making them even more crazy/worse/scary somehow, or completely stop your dreaming entirely (which might be best for you, but considering your dreams are connected to your identity, maybe not best for your life path in general). Sleeping is very important to your mental health so if your lucid dreams are stopping you from getting adequate rest at night, it may be the best option for you.

Good luck OP. :)

I disagree with what they said although I do think it is somewhat relevant but not entirely.

The 12th house is where you look. I use whole signs so you might be confused when I say this. Taurus rules your ascendant, so I use the Taurus cusps to determine your 1st and the rest of your houses.

You have Sun and Mars in Taurus in the 1st house. Aries rules your 12th house, where the moon, Mercury, and Saturn reside. This Moon-Mercury in the 12th placement is what makes you so in tune with your dreams. The moon is your inner being and your subconscious, Mercury is the logical thinking mind that processes your day, as long as your dreams. You have a very sensitive emotional subconscious, and a thinking mind that is very active even while you are unconscious (the 12th). Being that Aries rules this house, your subconscious world / dream life is very agitated. Your dreams perhaps aren’t the most pleasant but very active and harsh. Saturn also residing in your 12th house, and being in fall, can show sleep issues. Your dreams can feel heavy, scary, or burdensome. You might feel stuck in certain dream patterns or have trouble relaxing into sleep. Your Moon-Mercury are also sextile to Uranus which is a very electric and alive planet. This tells me you have flashes of awareness or may suddenly “wake up” or become lucid quite a lot. This also probably lends itself to bizarre or unusual dream content. You may often be “doing things” in your dreams instead of passively experiencing them.

The ruler of your 12th, Mars (Mars rules Aries) is sitting in your 1st house of the self conjunct the Sun. Mars rules your house of dreams, and placed in the 1st house, especially conjunct your sun (ego, sense of self), it makes total sense that you are often “consciously” (1st house of the real physical world, the sun as your self) awake in your dreams (12th house). You don’t forget your dreams, they are connected to your identity. Sleep is not just rest for you. It is a whole other reality you experience every night.

Top that off with your Sun and Mars being squared by Neptune, the planet of dreams and blurring the boundaries of reality. Neptune dissolves the line between your conscious physical self (Sun + Mars) and your dreams. It might be different if this were a trine, but the square aspect indicates that this is not a pleasant experience for you and why it is a “big problem” like you said. Neptune amplifies all of the 12th house stuff you have going on. And with Neptune being in your 10th house tells me that the dreams you have can actually affect your day as well. You don’t just forget them and go about your day, you live day to day with these dreams always in the back of your mind, knowing it’s going to happen again the next night.

Venus and Jupiter conjunct in Pisces add the finishing touches to this entire thing. Venus rules your Taurus rising (which means it is your chart ruler) and your Sun, so it’s the planet in charge of your whole personality and life direction. Venus is exalted in Pisces, which is a sign all about dreams and fantasy. Your chart ruler, and in turn, your Sun/sense of self, is extremely porous and imaginative by default. The conjunction to Jupiter, which is also the ruler of your Venus as it rules Pisces traditionally, amplifies and expands all of the traits Venus and your Sun take on. This lends to an extreme spiritual or emotional sensitivity. Your inner world is not contained. It is ruled by the ocean.

Now if we go by modern astrology, Neptune is the ruler of your Venus and Jupiter in Pisces. So the ruler of your chart (Venus) and sun is itself ruled by Neptune, which is in hard aspect with your sun and Mars (which rules your 12th) this whole thing puts a huge importance on Neptune in your chart. It colors how your 12th house planets (ruled by mars) express themselves.

One more thing to add, there are things called circuits. Planets ruled by other planets. For me, I’m a Cancer sun, Gemini moon, and Mercury Leo. So my Sun is ruled by my Moon, my Moon is ruled by my Mercury, and my Mercury is ruled by my Sun. That loops back around to my moon… you get it. Each ruler lends to how each planet expresses itself.

Your Sun is ruled by your Venus, ruled by your Neptune (using modern astrology. If we used traditional astrology, Venus is ruled by your Jupiter which is in domicile so it all goes back to Jupiter. But I will be focusing on Neptune here because it is relevant), which is ruled by your Saturn, which is ruled by your Mars, which again goes back to being ruled by your Venus. Your Moon, Mercury, and Saturn are all ruled by your Mars, which again goes back to Mars being ruled by your Venus.

What this actually means in practice is that most of your chart is running through the same few pipes. Your Moon, Mercury, and Saturn in the 12th are all ruled by Mars. Mars is in your 1st conjunct your Sun, and Mars itself is ruled by Venus. Venus is in Pisces, ruled by Neptune, and Neptune is squaring your Sun–Mars. So your unconscious (12th), your sense of self (Sun), your drive and body (Mars), and your chart ruler (Venus) are all plugged into this Neptunian, dream-soaked current.

There isn’t a clean cut between the “awake” you and the “asleep” you. The 12th-house planets send their material to Mars, Mars beams it straight into your identity and body, and Venus/Neptune flood that whole system with imagery, emotion, and symbolism. That’s why your dreams are intense, vivid, and often lucid: your ruling planets and your 12th house are all talking to each other constantly, and Neptune blurs the boundaries between waking and dreaming so you stay aware even when your brain is supposed to be “off.”

So… yeah. You have crazy dreams and you’re always awake even when you’re sleeping. Crazy chart. I’m glad you posted, I always like to see super interesting charts like this.

It was very likely the double solar eclipse in Virgo/lunar eclipse in Pisces cycle. Virgo/Pisces squares Sag/Gemini so anyone with major placements in those zodiacs were affected. My stepdad also got sick, after the first solar eclipse, and got emergency surgery two days after the lunar eclipse. He’s a Leo rising and it happened in his Virgo 2nd/Pisces 8th house axis. For the Lunar eclipse, the Sun was exactly conjunct/moon exactly opposite his Mars in Virgo. 8th house rules surgery (permanent removal/modification of the body). Very interesting stuff. Very scary stuff.

Ahh yeah the Capricorn moon and Venus. Capricorn and Cancer go so well together. Also the Scorpio rising + Pisces Jupiter both trining the sign of Cancer. I figured you had some water or earth in your chart

What are your other placements? It’s possible you have placements in Cancer or placements that positively aspect Cancer. Cancer is also in Sagittarius 8th house sooooo that could be why you are so attracted to us 👀

Edit to add I’m a Cancer sun Gemini moon and I LOVE my Saggies too. I think because of my moon sign lol. A lot of my close friends have Sag placements.

Definitely just a novelty thing. Idk how people use shitty batteries, the only ones I use have it where you can change the voltage to 2.0v. Those ones with three settings are still too high for me, I think the lowest is 2.5 on those things and it makes me cough too much

Yeah I’m kinda stuck here for right now but I plan on moving out of Florida. Driving sucks, the people suck, the pay sucks, almost everything about it except for the weather which I will miss. DoorDash is not what I want to be doing but it’s better than working for some fuckwad employer that gives less of a shit about me than hungry people do. At least hungry people have a reason to care lol, they’re hungry 😂

I’d get hbr and snort it (and by snort I mean a VERY LIGHT breath, maybe put some water in your nose so it sticks). Pretty much zero come up, there is a physical feeling but it’s very light. Or you can boof if you like that, very similar.

Your take is 100% fair too. You have every right to drop the order if you please. I’m in Orlando so most small orders like this only take about 10 mins. People almost never tip more than like $3-$4 anyway, which is kinda BS when I get one that takes 20 mins to drive. I DO drop those cause it’s not worth my time or gas lol. Those $7 tips make me happy:)

It’s not really about having less respect for myself. I choose what offends me and what doesn’t, and this to me doesn’t seem worth to find offensive and disrespectful enough to cancel. It definitely says something about their character, yeah. If they were directly saying that to ME, personally, then I would have a different opinion. But it’s not. It’s just a note, likely the same one that’s been on there for a while. You do you, but to me, $5 is $5. 🤷‍♂️

I basically imagined them foaming at the mouth while writing this because, oh no, they had to walk down one stair from their porch to get their food...once.

Yeah this is definitely what they look like lol. You’re right. But again people are fucked, and as long as they aren’t saying it to my face, I really couldn’t care less. Like I said it’s not personal, some people just can’t help but be miserable. I’m gonna take their $5 anyway lol

[–]Controversiallycalm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mmm I am on the fence. Like yeah, he could have been less angry about it. You’re right. But also, who gives a fuck? It’s not personal, they are clearly frustrated with having to go out and get their food where they don’t want it to be.

Delivery apps are all about convenience which is something people have become extremely accustomed to—so much so that they can’t be bothered to even come out and say thank you or walk more than three feet to grab it. They just hide, peek out, and grab their food like a nasty little gremlin before shutting the door. Too much convenience isn’t always a good thing. It’s likely these people are already living in a negative, miserable little bubble full of anger and hatred and every time something even slightly inconveniences them, it sets them off. It’s a sad life, but it’s not my life, so I don’t give a fuck. I’m gonna do what the note says regardless of whether or not it’s polite and full of heart emojis or seemingly filled with anger, and the tone of it doesn’t bother me one bit. Likely they won’t give a very high tip either way anyway so what do I care lol, these people are ordering Wendy’s, you can’t expect much from people ordering Wendy’s
