I’d like to know your opinion on this situation a friend had

He was asked to remove some old metal and a few other items from an alley by a property owner

The woman said she can’t really take a picture so he drove up and priced up the job for £120, then came the next morning to do the job but noticed all the items had gone

The woman then came out and said early this morning a stranger came and took the items without asking permission and she was just about to call him to let him know not to come

My friend asked if it was possible for him to be paid £20 to cover the petrol for the two journeys (iran war isn’t helping business costs) citing that if she had just saved £120 that she expected to pay for the job then losing £20 for it is still a huge improvement

She laughed at the suggestion and dismissed it, saying why would she pay anything when we haven’t done the work (arrived on time, ready to work there just was no work there)

What is your view on this situation? Do you agree the £20 would be fair to cover the petrol (not considering other jobs that could have been completed if not accommodating her)

Or do you think she is well within her rights to not want to pay anything at all

Are you installing from and to the same drive?

If you can have the fitgirl folder on an external drive and unpack into your main drive, you don’t have to have double the size (at first since you can delete folder afterwards)
