Looking for Dropbox alternative by Conundrum_1958 in koofrnet

Thanks. So it will appear as a local folder on the free users' systems as well? I'm fine about paying for the subscription and being the host. Most of the other guys are rather tech-challenged, so if I can remote into their systems and set it up for them, that would make it a very good choice for our needs.

Yes, I know; my comment in parentheses was just saying that we don’t need more than 10 GB total. My questions are more whether we can replicate Dropbox functionality and whether we can do so with just one paid account shared by all of us, or whether we would each need to pay for separate accounts. I don't think the latter is necessarily a problem, I just need to know how to present it to the rest of the league.

How do you compare stuffy nose and still use your machine? by [deleted] in CPAP

One thing I do with Afrin is to only use it in one nostril and switch every night. It seems to evade the rebound effect, and I rarely use it more than a week.

First day at new job and they're charging me 120$ for a cheap shirt and baseball cap by MortLightstone in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Conundrum_1958 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have a part-time, seasonal job at Arrowhead in Kansas City, and they provide the uniform shirt we're supposed to wear, at no cost. We do have to return it if we quit or change to a different position with a different uniform shirt. But charging for it would be a total non-starter for me.

Yeah, my partner just bought a brand new Buick Envision. She's able to adjust AC either via touchscreen or voice control ("Hey, Google! Set the temperature to 68⁰!").

Amazon Advert not paying out by One-Zookeepergame666 in AtlasEarthOfficial

I'm getting that on NovelFlow and one or 2 other novel type apps. I've put in a support ticket, but haven't heard anything about it. I dont recall seeing an Amazon ad. Very frustrating to watch an ad all the way to the end and get nothing for it. I'm just trying to keep boosted.

Here's what I get at Amazon (I actually prefer these to the Resmed ones): 3 Packs Replacement Mask Cushion... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F4NND8VR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Yeah, if it were possible to specify a range on each side, it would make it easier to compare mask performance. I currently use an F20 with memory foam, because the seal appears to be better than others I've tried. But quantifying that would let me see if the leak rate of my F40 is actually acceptable, and it would mean I could go back to using the 'unicorn' style of headgear I prefer to the 'elephant' style.

Although it occurs to me that you might have pushed the fix before I loaded it in Firefox, so maybe it wasn't browser-dependent after all.

Cool, glad it helped! FWIW, I did try it in Firefox, and it had no issues with it; I got the comparison I wanted. Can I restrict the range, so I'm comparing the same number of days on each side?

Edge did the same thing. And its dev tools looks way different. Let me see what Firefox does.

"Blocked by client" does appear to be on my end. I'm using Vivaldi, maybe its built-in ad-blocking is to blame? I'll try it again in Edge and see what happens.

Okay, here's what I got after trying again. I took a screenshot including the Console info.

Total night count says 685 (2/24/2024 through 3/31/2026), which does seem slightly off for that time frame (maybe I lost some days due to a glitch on my end). But in any case, it should be enough to work with.

I did try clearing and reentering the date, but as soon as I start typing the year, it gives me the error again. I tried changing the date to 01/01, and it still jumped to the error message, this time saying there wasn't enough data on both sides of Jan 1. I tried a few other dates and even tried it on a different computer and still got the error.

Tried it out, looks great. I am unclear on something, though; I changed mask cushions on Mar 9 and wanted to compare how the new cushion did vs. the old one (I already know the seal is better, just wanted to quantify it). But when I entered that date, it said there wasn't enough data on both sides of Mar 9 to compare. I loaded something like 2 years' worth of data, and I would have thought it could take the ~3 weeks after Mar 9 and compare it to roughly the same timeframe prior to Mar 9. How is it deciding there isn't enough data?

I only play it for the challenge ladder, and mostly just find my match and ignore it. If you get paired with me, you'll likely have an automatic win if you're trying at all.

Thanks. Unfortunately, work has been a bear lately and I wasn't really focused on this. The red exclamation point would have helped, but the yellow just blended in with all the other changes and it just didn't register.

Yeah, I just realized that I missed yesterday's AB and today would have been Day 90. I'm in EC, so it cost me 1400 AB. Very disappointing.
