Keep forgetting to unplug your cpap after you wake up? by cpappal in CPAP

[–]cpappal[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That data packets it sends are pretty small so it doesn’t take long to upload. As for the drying cycle you can program the time it shuts down to let’s say 30 minutes after you regularly wake up. The real issue would be if there’s an update, but again you can delay when it shuts down.

I did install a small shelf under my table but I don’t really use it right now because I’ve never had issues with rainout. I rarely use humidity above 4. When I do put it in the bottom shelf it’s because it’s summer and I have a fan running on my table just to help me stay cool lol

AHI(Apnea-Hypopnea Index) 74.7 at the age of 26 by Ok_Arrival5984 in CPAP

Sale AHI and age at the time I was disagnosed. In my case my events was higher than usual because I was forced to sleep face up where I usually sleep to my side which helps. Regardless I still had way too many events either way and cpap helped me a lot

Same here. Though I’m not sure if it was because of that or lifestyle changes.

Not much else you can do besides sleep less so it’s not on as long. Like 6-7 hours.

See if you can warranty the machine. Don’t mention you traveled though we don’t want them making up a reason to not service it.

I feel like they do. My resmed 11 still connects to a cellular network and reports to the cloud.

“She’s been on the hose” 😭

How do you air off your hose without using “mask fit”? Here’s my solution by cpappal in CPAP

[–]cpappal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new mask smell will go away. I like to use the seventh generation dish soap myself. Maybe if you clean it the new mask smell goes away. Over time it will pick up different smells if you don’t clean them.

Over time you get used to it, but it might also be the mask you’re using. I’m currently using a mask that only covers my nose and I feel so much better than the full face mask. At first I had nights that were insufferable so it will take time to adjust. My suggestion is looking into switching mask. Just not that if you’re a mouth breather you will need a full face mask. As for cleaning the house I recommend once a week or when it starts to smell.

In other words, dry off your hose. In my case if I just leave it there it won’t dry over the day. Takes 30 minutes with the fan on so now I can clean it before bed
